The venue was beautiful and the day was great!! I would recommend this place for someone looking to have a lower budget wedding that's just as beautiful!! However, when Deb took over as the event manager a few months before our wedding is when things became REALLY difficult. She never responded on a timely manner, tried to change the rules and hours of our wedding after a contract was signed a year prior. We made multiple appointments to meet with her that she never showed up to. She was a hour late showing up to open the venue on the actual wedding day so my other vendors were waiting for her to set up the function hall. And she caused a scene towards the end of our wedding over something so small and stupid. The venue is beautiful and I would recommend but avoid Deb at all possible. She isn't a people person and why is the event manager is beyond me.

Just had my wedding there, very nice grounds and hall if your budget isn't cut out for all the extra things. As far as service my groomsman and I felt like we were invaiding space in the bar down stairs while we waited for Deb to show up. They have us attitude because we weren't "members". Deb, well she isn't at all personable, punctual or professional. She showed up over an hour late and we set up all the tables and chairs ourselves. She hasseled the whole weddding party while we were dressing making sure we weren't "illegally drinking" in the dressing room. We owed her a sum of money which was agreed to be paid for at the conclusion of the wedding, she took it upon herself to ask the bride, brides mom, grooms mom and a few other people for payment and threatened to shut the wedding down. My best man told her she was being unprofessional and would give her the money not to bother me and my wife while we enjoyed our day. Well because she was so upset she shut the bar down breaching contract and blamed people for sneaking beer into the venue, without any proof. The detail cop at debs order searched my best man and found nothing searched the area found nothing. This infuriated deb and the other bar tender so they instructed the cop to shut the wedding down. We were all kicked out, I didn't receive my food or my cake topper nor did I receive and back pay for setting up the whole place. I would recommend this venue only if deb isn't at all involved. She is horrible to work with, communication with, meet with or even have casual conversation with.
