Chequessett - Public Golf, Tennis & Sailing is a venue in Wellfleet, Massachusetts that provides couples with an authentic Cape Cod wedding experience. This laid-back setting offers couples and their guests a gorgeous view of Wellfleet Bay. Whether you are celebrating your wedding, ceremony, reception or rehearsal dinner, this country club embodies a casual seaside experience that can be customized to be fully your own.

Facilities and Capacity
Chequessett has enough space for couples to share their special day with up to 200 guests. Couples can choose to have their ceremony or reception underneath twinkling fairy lights and lanterns in the cedar-shingled Boathouse Gallery or gazing out over the bay under our waterfront tent. If you are preferring more of an outdoor experience, the beach with crashing waves in the background is the perfect location.

When we planned to get married we both wanted it to take place on the beach. The Cheqessett Boat House was PERFECT for our special day. From the minute we first visited it we knew it was what we wanted. Tia was so warm and helpful during the entire time, from planning, adjusting for our changes and the ever present on the day of our wedding. The ceremony on the beach was wonderful and the deck at the boat house is large with spectacular views. Our guests are still commenting on the fantastic time and this wonderful venue!! Best wedding they have
ever been to!
Special thanks to both Tia and Abby!! Also, Thank-You very much to Beth O’Rourke for the Excellent job she did with the music. The place was rocking and the dance floor was full...we even had the servers dancing at the end of the night.

We had a perfect wedding day at this most perfect location. It rained (!) which was not in the plan, and everyone was accommodating and helpful. I couldn't have asked for more.

I love working at Chequessett Yacht & Country Club. The venue itself is beautiful and natural. The layout is very practical in different weather conditions as well, which is a priority in New England! In addition, the staff are welcoming and personable. I definitely recommend CYCC!
