About

My name is Emma Katherine Shepherd, and I am the owner/creator behind The Emma Kat, LLC. I am a Licensed Makeup Artist and Esthetician offering traditional and airbrush makeup applications for all occasions, makeup classes, facials, skin analysis, body treatments, brow tinting, body and facial waxing, and lash extensions.

I have worked in the fashion and beauty industry since I was 17, starting early on as a Certified Wardrobe Stylist/Image Consultant. I fell into doing makeup when I began modeling for makeup classes, and discovered my love for all things skin and beauty related.

Amazing, highly recommend!

Emma is amazing, She was professional, super friendly, and amazing at what she does. Emma did makeup for my 4 bridesmaids and myself. We were all completely satisfied and happy with the outcome. Emma made me feel and look beautiful on my wedding day. I would highly recommend her for any event!

Emma has done my makeup on multiple occasions. She is always professional and quick to reply to my inquiries. She has given me many tips to help with my skincare and makeup routine. Her prices are much better than others who I have spoken with and she provides the best service I have ever received. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist!

She is wonderful to work with and does beautiful makeup. She did my wedding makeup (and my bridesmaids’), and I appreciated the flexiblity she had with me as I was an out-of-state bride. I absolutely will recommend Emma in the future!

Wedding reception

Absolutely amazing!!!! I would give 10 stars if I could! She was patient, listened to my vision, and nailed it the first time at my makeup trial! Extremely talented!!! My wedding reception was perfect and my makeup stayed on all day/night!
