Jimmy at Durangourmet provided us with such tasty treats at our wedding. My husband and I choose a southwestern style of food which was not only delicious but being from New Mexico provided a sense of comfort food. We had many compliments from our guests stating our food was the best wedding food they'd ever had.

Look no further if you are searching for a caterer in the Durango area. Jimmy is the best! The food was absolutely amazing!! All our guests remarked on how delicious everything tasted, both the meal AND the appetizers! Jimmy was so accommodating and helpful, offerring suggestions on popular favorites for appetizers and allowing my daughter and her husband to pull items from diffetent menus in order to have everything they wanted. The goat cheese and spinach empanadas are to die for, as is the bacon-wrapped cream cheese-stuffed shrimp. Durangourmet pays attention to every detail, so the presentation of the food is lovely as well. We were served a platter of the most beautiful, colorful grilled vegetables -- yellow and red peppers, green asparagus, purple onions -- almost to pretty to eat! The serving staff was friendly, polite, and very efficient and professional. I can't say enough good things about Durangourmet. I am so very pleased we chose them for our daughter's wedding. Jimmy and his staff are a pleasure to work with and the food was worth every dollar spent. We tasted food from 3 other local caterers and nothing can compare to Durangourmet. I highly recommend them.

OMG describes it all! Jimmy is amazing and I am so glad that I found him. We originally had hired a different caterer who quickly flaked out on us (which was the best thing that could have happened). I found Jimmy with Durango Gourmet through a google search and I am so lucky I did. From the first meeting you know he understands food pairings and has a level of professionalism that is hard to beat. We opted for Lamb and Steak Medallions which two weeks later people are still talking to me about. You will NOT find a better caterer in the Durango/Silverton area. The majority of his staff was amazing, the 4 on the professionalism was due to the bartender not Jimmy however I had a few people comment on how unfriendly the bartender was so I felt the need to mention it. But do not look past using Jimmy based on that because you would be missing out on the best food you could have at your wedding or event!
