Downbeat was absolutely AMAZING for our wedding in November 2025!! The kept the vibe upbeat and people were on the dance floor from the moment they started until we had to kick them out for our final private dance! We booked Downbeat for our wedding reception at Capitol Park Museum and we are so glad we did! Every musician in the band is amazing. The videos online do not do this band justice. You have to see them in person! They know how to keep the dance floor packed and are just the right amount of interactive. All of our guests are still raving about Downbeat a month later!

Not only is the band great, but Chris is EXTREMELY easy to work with! He was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process. Do not walk, RUN! Hands down the best decision we made for our wedding was booking Downbeat for our wedding band. We got married on 4/26/25 and have recieved nothing but compliments from our guest of all ages. They exceeded our expectations, and we did not want the night or music to end! I cannot recommend them enough. They communicated very well with me and the wedding planners prior to the wedding and made any announcements requested at the reception. Chris also sang our first dance song which was a 10/10 phenomenal performance and so special and memorable! You will not regret booking with them!

I went to check them out at a few public shows beforehand and loved the song selections. They played songs that our parents loved, that our friends loved, and all ages in between. They did everything in their power to make sure my wedding day was everything I dreamed of and more! I’m still getting texts from family and friends saying how good the band was. Truly the best wedding band. We had our wedding on 3/8/25 and everyone had a blast and could not stop raving about the band! They interact constantly with the dance floor, making sure all guests are having fun. They allowed me to share the mic and stage (maybe one too many times). Chris is very easy to work with and Vegas has the essence of an angel. Cannot recommend them enough!!
