Dorothy was wonderful to work with. Our wedding was in Chicago and we live in California. Dorothy was available in all ways we needed her to be, both in preparing for the event and 5 years after, to purchase an album and individual photos.

Dorothy photographed my friend's wedding so we had already seen her incredible work. She ABSOLUTELY did not disappoint. Our wedding day was amazing and Dorothy seemlessly captured all of the details. We were moved to tears by how Dorothy highlighted the emotion of our "perfect" day. Her style allowed us to be in the moment and almost forget we were being photographed. She translated our very special day into the most beautiful language and helped create the most incredible memories.

Dorothy is really quite an extraordinary person. She is an outstanding photographer and I have no doubts that she has the best quality and pricing around. Not only is she excellent at what she does, her personality is warm and unforgettable. After hiring Dorothy to photograph our wedding, my wife and I have amazing pictures to remember our special day as well as a new dear friend. I only wish I had more for her to photograph! I guess we better start having kids.

The first thing I have to say is, if you're interested in not looking "goosed" or tense in your wedding day photos, she is the photographer for you. Dorothy was so calm and focused on the task at hand. It was an art for her and it showed. The composition, our poses, the color, the saturation were all perfect. She even used Photoshop to erase the unavoidable refuse that was on the beach during the engagement photo shoot. (Ah, Chicago.) She helped me so much with calming me down during the engagement and day of wedding photo shoots. When i would unconsciously be gripping my soon to be husband's shoulder, she told me to breathe. When i would find my self holding my breath, again she calmly told me how everything was going to be perfectly beautiful. Honestly I believe it's because of her, the engagement pictures were wonderful, and the wedding album.....magical.
