Dorothy did the flowers for my wedding and was absolutely phenomenal. I shared a loose vision and color scheme, and she did the rest. She read between the lines, and delivered incredible arrangements that tied the whole day together. The bouquets were gorgeous, the ceremony pieces were perfect, and our reception looked like a dream. Zero stress, clear communication, and results that exceeded what I pictured. From our very first meeting, my daughter and I were so thrilled as we knew that Dorothy truly listened and with her vast knowledge and expertise, was able to help us envision our vision!!! Dorothy understood and respected always my budget and worked magnificently with modifications that did not compromise my daughter’s wishes nor the look I truly wanted!!! Dorothy has an incredible team dedicated to making every aspect of the “big day” perfect and seamless!!! Gorgeous, huge floral arrangements were going to be “repurposed” from the wedding venue to the reception venue, and Dorothy herself came to both venues on my daughter’s wedding day to look over and inspect everything AND had her team spot on and right on time to get florals from the Chapel to the Fennec!!! AMAZING!!! Being able to repurpose was magnificent and another wonderful thing that makes my daughter and me so happy about having DOROTHY MCDANIEL’S EXPERIENCE AND EXCELLENCE is that at the conclusion of the event, you are indeed welcome to take all floral arrangements that you would like (not the beautiful containers😉) but for those not collected, Dorothy and her team distribute these gorgeous flowers to Cancer Patients throughout the city and donate them to Abused Women and Children that might not otherwise ever know such joy, beauty and genuine kindness!!! We chose Dorothy McDaniel's Flower Market because they were an established business and had many people on their staff for the day of. We wanted a florist we could trust and count on. The other two florists we contacted did not provide a quote, and I later learned that many just want you to sign a contract committing to a minimum amount without an idea of how much the total would be. I like to know in advance what I'm committing to, and Dorothy provided that detailed quote.

Dorothy and Wes met with us as many times as we needed and patiently listened to what we envisioned. They delivered the most beautiful flower arrangements at competitive prices (we got one other quote). Their flowers stayed fresh for weeks after the wedding (brought home a few arrangements). Fantastic service and amazing quality! This was my first time working with Dorothy and her staff and they did not disappoint. I hosted a bridal shower at the Birmingham Botanical Garden in early May and just based on a few inspirational photos Dorothy and her team were able to create masterpieces! There is no other floral designer that I would use to pull together the wedding of my daughter’s dreams. My daughter had very specific ideas that she wanted and she collaborated with the entire staff as well as her wedding planner. They were all incredible to work with and truly made her night magical and different from other events we had seen.

Dorothy and team handled our son's rehearsal dinner and Post Toast. It was important that our flowers compliment the wedding/reception but stand out uniquely on their own. AND wow - did they deliver! I wanted a contemporary modern feel and the flowers were exactly as I had envisioned. As a groom's mom out of state, they offered me choices and were very flexible when the space was re-worked which impacted the floral arrangements. Dorothy McDaniel's did my wedding and rehearsal. They are absolutely incredible! Dorothy and her team are so kind and were a pleasure to work with. I was blown away by just how amazing everything looked, they are the absolute best. Everything was truly PERFECT!

I reached out to Dorothy about 7 weeks prior to our wedding. We had to fire our planner who was also handling floral and decor for us. Her pricing was competitive however the quality far exceeded our original florals, which was not something we expected on such short notice. Her staff was fast and professional with setup, and we got tons of compliments. The bouquets were incredible and the arbor for the ceremony was stunning. Everything was delivered in vases and kept fresh. I can't say enough good things about Dorothy, if you want high end florals and great attention to detail, she is the best. Her pricing is surprisingly reasonable, you will 100% get more than you pay for. She can also take care of stationary, chairs, heaters, dance floors, linens, and pretty much anything you need. Go to her first! I wish we did, but I'm grateful we found her!
