Words cannot express the amazing work that Donald did for us. He made us feel special and comfortable in front of a camera on such a memorable day. He created an amazing same day edit that wowed everyone. We were literally at a loss for words as we watched it. We loved how the video tells the story of us and captured our entire day. Everyone wanted to see it again and again after the wedding. Every time we watch the film we feel the emotions of the day all over again. My husband and I got married just recently in October and were skeptical at first about getting a videographer, but after reading so many articles that most people regret not getting one, we decided to go for it. We chose Donald personally because he was a friend of a friend and we liked his previous work. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Not only was Donald friendly and fun to work with, but he made sure we were comfortable. I loved that he wanted to try something new with us that he’s never done before with another client, but unfortunately, our church coordinator wouldn’t allow it. Maybe another client will be so lucky to get that shot. Regardless, we had a great time even if it was raining. We were worried that the rain would put a damper on our experience and the video, but Donald was optimistic and reassured us that things would be fine. He also worked well with our photographer, which was important to us. This just shows he’s flexible and willing to make things work, rain or shine. As far as the video style, we didn’t really have anything in mind and it came out better than we had imagined. Although we only spent a few hours together, it’s like he knew us for years and created an amazing video that captured the most important day of our lives! Our friends and family cannot stop watching and raving about our wedding video. I would definitely refer him to anyone looking for a videographer for any type of event.

Donald did such an awesome job for our wedding music video. He really knows what he's doing. Not only is he a great videographer, but he's also a great director. He told us exactly what he needed us to do in order to get the perfect shot. His creative juices were really flowing. We filmed for only a few hours over two days. He was very punctual, friendly, and professional. We didn't see the finished product until our reception, but I can say that we were 100% satisfied with what he put together.

Donald met with us months before our wedding and we spent the day together getting to know each other while he shot our interviews. Donald is so easy to work with--he cares and is very professional! He knows the LA area well and we would give ideas of where we would like to shoot and he also suggested a few places and took our vision to another level. For example Donald suggested that we re-enact our proposal, so he took us up to Griffith Park and we created a whole scene with an audience!! It was such a fun experience!! After shooting our love story, my husband and I were both excited to work with Donald on our wedding day! Donald is very talented-- shooting weddings isn't his only forte and it shows in his work. His many years of experience in the video and editing field easily shows in his high quality products. My husband and I have been married for 1.5 years and we still watch our wedding video and agree that Donald was easy and super fun to work with. I also have to mention that we happened to get married on what had to be one of the hottest days in the year (103 degrees and outdoors!) Donald and his staff handled it like champs! Talk about professional! A year and a half later we still have friends complimenting us on our love story/same day edit montage. I feel like my husband and I were very fortunate to encounter such great vendors for our wedding just a few months ago, Donald of Donrubes Production definitely being one of them! We had seen a couple videos that he had done previously and immediately could see that he does great work. I contacted him about a year out from our wedding and he was enthusiastic, polite and professional from the start. His rate was very reasonable also. We met with him and chatted over coffee and got to know each other. He made us feel very comfortable and not intimidating at all. As the wedding got closer, he was good with keeping in touch and was very accommodating with any changes to locations or times. On our wedding day, he and his crew made everyone feel comfortable and was able to take natural looking/candid shots. He also worked well with my photographers, respecting each others space. During our wedding ceremony and reception, I didnt notice them get in anybody's way which I appreciated. Our recap video was ready a month later and it was amazing! I couldnt stop watching it over and over. The quality of the video was so great and it was like reliving the day all over again with each view. I think my mom and I probably put 80 views on the video on the first day it was posted. hahah We have received so many complements on the video. He also made a clip of the whole wedding day (ceremony, speeches, first dance, father daughter dance, mother son, bouquet toss, garter toss, toasts, etc) which was about 45 min long. It was nice to see this as well because we really got to see what the whole day was like, because most of it was a blur! We highly recommend spending that extra money and getting a videographer for your wedding, especially Donald! He is definitely worth it. Thank you so much Donald! You're the best!
