DJs for Less was our DJ at our wedding in September 2016 and they were fantastic and affordable! They were actually recommended to me by another DJ company as I was searching for an affordable DJ. As our big day was approaching, Jake, the President of DJs for Less, communicated with me regularly and provided an online timeline tool to organize everything from pre-ceremony music to dinner music to announcements and even included what type of attire we wanted the DJ to wear! Their online tool was so detailed and included things that I didn’t even think of, which is great so we didn’t miss any small detail. Then, the week of our wedding, we had a Skype meeting with Jake and Devin (Devin was our DJ) and we went through everything. When it came to the big day, Devin arrived plenty early to set-up and to ensure the sound was working properly. After chatting with Devin upon his arrival, to discuss where he would set-up outside for the ceremony and inside for the reception, he did his thing. The sound during the ceremony was great (although our officiant had a bit of an issue with the mic but I’m certain it was because of the way she was holding it b/c it was on), the music during the reception was perfect, and the announcements such as our entrance, first dance, etc, was exactly what we had asked for. Devin was also very professional and handled himself in the same manner. We did not have a dancing crowd at our wedding but Devin handled it well and played all types of music to try to get more guests out there. I give him props for that because that is not easy and can often times be awkward for the DJ – Devin handled this nicely! Then, at the very end, after we had left, Devin provided my mother-in-law with two discs to give to us. One was a copy of our ceremony music and the other had our requested songs that were played during the reception. This was a nice surprise for us! All in all, both my husband and I would highly recommend DJs for Less!
