NewHarp Productions is a Des Moines, Iowa-based wedding DJ and entertainment company established in 2023 - dedicated to creating memorable celebrations filled with great music, high energy, and unforgettable moments. From the ceremony to the final song of the night, we work closely with each couple to create an experience that reflects their personality, vision, and unique love story.
Founded by two childhood friends with a shared passion for music and bringing people together, NewHarp Productions takes a team-oriented and personalized approach to every celebration. What stood out the most was how much Mitchell did beyond just being the DJ. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and even helped and fixed issues with things that weren’t related to the DJ role. He was a huge help with coordinating, making announcements, getting everyone’s attention, and making sure people were following the itinerary and plan for the evening.
He did a great job keeping everyone engaged and bringing energy to the dance floor. He got people excited, played good songs, and even joined us out on the dance floor to help get people up and dancing.
Mitchell was very nice and super helpful throughout the entire process. We couldn’t recommend him and NewHarp Productions more.

The transitions between songs were seamless, the sound quality was excellent, and they added such a fun, energetic vibe to the reception. They also did a fantastic job with announcements—clear, confident, and never over-the-top.
