About Me:

Relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2013— singer, songwriter, musician and DJ, Marcus Cappellazzo was born and raised in Cairns, Australia and has been entertaining professionally for weddings, venues, and events for over 15 years.

Marcus has had a long career in the original music scene. He joined the band Lexis Curfew in 2005. The band toured Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra with the release of their debut album, Roadie Joe,and became the third most downloaded Rock Album on iTunes during its release in August 2006. As a two-time winner of the Cairns Time Out Awards, Marcus debuted his Self-Titled Album in 2011. Shortly after relocating to the Bay Area, Marcus joined the rock band Red February in 2013 and released their debut album, On The Run. Original music is available to purchase at gigs, through the Album tab of the website and on the following streaming sites: Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Apple Music, Amazon Music, iTunes, Napster, Media Net, Deezer, Tidal, Saavan, Anghami, Goose Play, ClaroMusica and KKbox.

Nowadays, Marcus performs as Cappell Entertainment for Weddings, Events, and local Venues. He provides Live Music and DJ Entertainment from start to finish. Some of his regular singing gigs include The Hard Rock Cafe, Hotel Zephyr, Pier 39 and the Red & White Fleet dinner cruise in San Francisco. Performing on average 200 gigs and 60 Weddings/Corporate Events a year, Marcus provides a competitive budget with a fun, friendly environment. Some events have included NASCAR 2017 (Sonoma), Ferrari's 70th Birthday (Pebble Beach), 49er Golden Heart Run (Levi’s Stadium), Summer/Winter Concert Series (SFO International Airport) and Corporate Events for Salesforce, Ebates, Google, Amazon, and Inman Connect.

Services provided include DJ entertainment, Solo acoustic performance, Duo with violinist, and a One-Man band set up. Marcus’ talents set him apart by using a One-Man band set up. This band-like performance consists of an electric kick, snare, crash, toms, and hi-hat pedals, accompanied by guitar and vocals.

Marcus’ delivers an acoustic spin on classic oldies and todays hits.
