Jeff offers consultations so you can get to know each other before your event and ensure he clearly understands your vision. At your party, he can come ready with all of the necessary equipment, like two professional JBL speakers, wireless microphones, a full sound system, a light stand, and a disco ball. Jeff hopes to crate a lively atmosphere with fantastic tunes that have you and your guests on the dance floor all night long.

My name is Jeff Oppenheimer and I reside in the Indianapolis area. Some folks call me by my Nickname “Oppie”. You won’t find a lot of chatter on the web about me and my professional services for weddings, parties, events and tradeshows as I have recently plunged back in to what I love… music and having fun sharing it with those who want a professional and experienced DJ/MC for their special event.
I recently retired early from a World Class Company where I was in charge of marketing and training for their major customers. There, I learned the importance of communication, follow-through, action and always keeping you…the customer… #1. I also learned that giving advice from my experiences was paramount for success, but more importantly, listening to concerns and goals from you. When you, the customer wins… we all win.
Back in the late 70’s and 80’s I was a DJ spinning and mixing 12” vinyl records in Disco’s and Rock Dance Clubs across the Midwest. I performed at many Top Shelf Clubs and was regarded as someone who could always read a club’s atmosphere and clientele and shape the music mixes around that. I was even invited to visit Studio 54 in New York City by their top DJ Nicky Siano.
During that time, I mastered the art of mixing music and feeling the “groove” of the club. Along with that, I developed a keen knowledge of lighting and mood flow utilizing that very important part of a fun evening. In the late 80’s, I also was on radio playing Country Music on a weekend show from 6 PM to midnight. I am no stranger to a microphone from the DJ and radio gig and refined it during my marketing career while giving many training presentations.
It is now time to bring those experiences and talents to the Indianapolis area. When you hire me, you get me and not some DJ service with multiple types of personnel.
I would like the opportunity to visit with you about your very important and special event.
Since I am not very well-known in the area yet, you will find my rates per hour to be modest so I can generate activity. I love music… I love people and I want to make your event Special and one you and your guests will remember for a lifetime!
