Yeah, no I didn’t get to dance with my daughter at her wedding but that’s OK. It’s not like it’s a once in a lifetime event or anything.. and the really bad thing is when things weren’t going as requested I politely spoke to her and told her just play the playlist and do everything that’s on the list and then she didn’t do any of that. I would love to say something positive about her oh, I I know she didn’t wear white to the wedding,like her assistant did

Jodi did my wedding this weekend and to say that I was disappointed is an understatement. Context: my bride, myself & several guests are radio djs. We know how to dj. We sent her several curated playlists for specific moments in the wedding. She seemingly had no intention of using any of them. We had planned 50s music for an our pre-ceremony only to hear her playing modern stadium country music. She chased down my bride minutes before walking down the aisle to ask who sang the songs we had sent her for the ceremony. There was zero transition between songs during the ceremony, she would just abruptly stop playing one song, take serval painful moments to find the right song before doing it over again. When it came time to introduce the wedding party her assistant WHO WORE WHITE asked several times how to pronounce last names and was even told that she did not need to say last names. She had the order and the phonetic spellings in front of her. She said them out of order and completely incorrectly. She asked me three times how to pronounce my last name. THE NEWLY WEDS LAST NAME and she did not say it correctly. We sent her a 10 hour playlist for the reception and the first song she plays is a Taylor swift song. Something that was 1000% not on that playlist. So she very clearly intended to reuse the music she had preloaded from other weddings. When it was brought to her attention she began to play the music we had sent her that was meant to be played during the money dance. When i went up to her and pointed this out she was extremely rude & dismissive & rolled her eyes at me. When my dad went up to speak to her she told him that people were leaving and that we needed to move the reception along. This was not an excuse for misusing my music. I had already given her a specific time for our schedule dances and that explanation makes absolutely zero sense to the songs she was playing. During our first dance the windows notification noise played loudly over the music. She played the wrong version of my father daughter dance and completely ruined a surprise I had planned for my dad. She played THE COMPLETELY WRONG SONG for the surprise that was planned for my bride. After that fiasco was over I went to her and told her that we are no longer doing the money dance because she literally could not be trusted to do it correctly, she went “yeah yeah I know” which means she was actively not listening to what I was saying. I repeated myself and she rolled her eyes again and threw her hands up at me. I will admit I was very mean to her after that moment. I think I had every right to. She proceeded to play none of the non mainstream songs that we sent her so she obviously had nothing specifically for us loaded in her system. After everything that she screwed up she proceeded to find my bride and “apologize” claiming that even dj’s have bad days, that our wedding was all out of order and call me disrespectful. After screwing up my wedding. She was sent the schedule for the wedding a week before the date. She had plenty of time. And then to add insult to injury she packed up all her stuff and left before we got to do our last dance. The employees at the venue felt so bad for us they hooked up their phone to the speakers so we could have our last dance. COUPLES BEWARE if you plan on having a wedding that is not exactly like every other wedding with the same cookie cutter music and schedule DO NOT hire Jodi. There is truly nothing nice I can say about her.

Incredibly disappointing to be forced to witness. Absolutely no effort from the DJ and there isn’t a single thing I can praise her for. Repeatedly got songs that were sent to her multiple times wrong. Played the loud Windows starting noise when the newly weds were dancing. No transitions during the ceremony… she literally would suddenly pause a track, leave a solid 10 seconds of silence, then press play on the next one. That was genuinely the worst DJ work I have ever witnessed, and I did college radio!
