About
My love for beats and rhythms since a young age led me to start my DJ journey with two turntables, a mixer, and some vinyl records. I strengthened my skills at teen dances, before getting gigs at birthday parties and under-21 nightclubs. I was self-taught, often using online tutorials to hone my skills.
During my college days, I balanced my studies with DJing at parties and bars, making the most of the lively party scene at my university. Post graduation, I shifted to Pittsburgh to pursue DJing full time.
During an internship at Clear Channel Radio, I gained valuable insights into audio production and live show production. This experience further expanded when I worked at several radio stations, before I decided to venture into new projects. I stayed connected with the nightclub scene throughout, learning important skills from seasoned DJs and earning the Best Nightclub DJ accolade from the City Paper.
Finding a gap in the wedding DJ scene, I translated my club DJ energy to weddings and founded "Modern Era Weddings." My company gained recognition in the Knot's Hall of Fame, although I later sold it to DJ Mike Willis and manage my gigs independently now.
