Most magical experience of our lives

From start to finish Disney Fairytale Weddings were professional and helpful, anything we thought of they had the answer. They made what should have been the most stressful (planning a wedding) the most stress free part of the whole experience. The only thing we had to do was show up

Best of the Best!

They always say "nobody does it like Disney" and they aren't wrong! We had the most perfect day! Our wedding planners and the whole staff are amazing to work with. Anything you need, they make sure to make it happen! Our guests are still talking about our fairytale wedding!

Perfect Wedding Day

I wouldn't trade our Disney wedding for ANYTHING. It was more than magical-it was a dream come true. The day was perfect, from our ceremony in the GORGEOUS Wedding Pavilion to our reception in the Grand Floridian Convention Center. I didn't even cry at the ceremony- I cried when I entered the reception hall space and they had made it exactly the fairy tale vision I saw in my head. It really felt as if the convention center ballroom were a dark, enchanted forest. The food was incredible. The cake was out of this world. SO many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, hands down. I must admit, we had an issue early on with our first wedding planner not responding to emails quickly, so we brought our concerns up and we were reassigned to our final wedding planner, Carol, who knocked it out of the park. We really felt as though our concerns were being listened to , and we got a sincere apology, as well as them bending over backwards to set it right. If you're dreaming of a Disney wedding, but worried the cost will be an issue, really look at it before ruling it out. We had an extensive guest list, and of those people, 70 showed up ( a very high head count for a destination wedding.) But because we had our wedding as a on a Wednesday morning, made our own centerpieces, flowers, favors, and many of our own decorations, it came out to be even less money than the average wedding, even when you factor in all the non-Disney purchases like the dress! The memories we have from that day will last a lifetime, and we are so thankful to Disney to making it perfect.

Fun experience… with minor misunderstandings

Having a weddifn in Disney is definitely a fairytale. Disney does work with you to assist you meet your budget. However you have to be absolutely clear on what not to remove otherwise they will remove things off the bill without telling you. We had our wedding during CoVid, so we were restricted to only using Disney vendors, and the limited guest count kinda bummed me out. But all in all my wedding was beautiful.

Very difficult to deal with in Covid times.

I don't know how it was pre-covid times, but after Disney furloughed part of the weddings staff it was a nightmare. They did not respond to emails for weeks and when they did it was too late for some items like seating charts and signature cocktail. We were not offered a rehearsal. There was only one Skype call with the planner and one Skype call with the floral/decor person, so it was very stressful not knowing if things would turn out right.
I am a very detail oriented person, so when I noticed how bad it was, I took care myself of important things to make sure it all worked out, for example, handing guests a brochure with the agenda, menu, seating chart and general info. I am glad I did because in the day of the wedding the coordinating staff support was poor and my planner didn't even attend.
The catering, bar and servers were AMAZING!
Decor and floral was extra expensive, so we got exactly what we paid for.
Cake was delicious!
The other non-Disney suppliers- photographer, DJ and the officiant, were the ones that saved the day, as they took care of a lot of logistic items and made sure us and the guests had a great time.

Bottomline: if you are a Disney fan, I feel you, nothing beats a Disney wedding, but be prepared for it. It won't be easy.
If you are not a Disney fan and it is not absolutely necessary to get married at Disney, go to other Florida venues where you'll get so much more value for your money and you'll be treated with more respect and professionalism.

Unmagical and Disappointed

Not a good experience.Poor communication.Disorganized.You will feel like a transaction.Their transportation drops you off at the furthest possible point, they sold me a photography package for our fireworks party that included no editing-pictures are horrible.The food is meh and they are completely unapologetic. After a lot of going back and forth and escalation, they agreed to edit five fireworks photos and refund 1/3 of the dry, hard cake.If you like to gamble-use them.I suggest you join FB groups like DisBrides so you can see how they are treating their clients.I used Catered Events for my reception, DFTW is even worse from what I have heard.The only thing that made any of this worthwhile was our photo shoot at World Showcase. Those pictures are beautiful. Breaks my heart-we paid a fortune for a very unsatisfactory event😢
