Facilities and Capacity
This beautiful lakefront property is a versatile space with the ability to accommodate both small and large events. Couples can organize a magical outdoor ceremony at sunset or plan an elaborate indoor celebration in the reception hall. Both spaces can be modified to suit your vision through careful attention to detail and thoughtful decoration. The venue features a large wraparound deck along the water, allowing couples to take beautiful wedding photos against a scenic natural backdrop. Additionally, the deck is equipped with a variety of yard games and activities to keep guests entertained in a unique way. These include Jenga, Tic Tac Toe, and Corn-hole. The facility can also organize indoor and outdoor seating arrangements as well as various table options for beverage stations, the ceremony, and reception. You and your guests will have full access to the property including ample space for parking.

520 on the Water is dedicated to making your planning experience as stress free as possible. For those who want to be very involved in the process, the venue offers partial coordination packages. Alternatively, those who wish to take a step back from deciding the details can avail of an all-inclusive option. Experienced event staff can take care of bar and catering services, or couples can choose outside vendors of their choice for the big day. A caterer’s pantry with refrigeration can be provided for external caterers.

My first real Job was working for a catering company located in Casselberry Florida. I was hooked and best of all, I was able to show my creativity through food displays and setting up the Buffet tables. I was later offered a job at a much larger catering company. My new job as a Wedding and Special Events Coordinator was a great fit. I had the flexibility to accommodate most budgets and offer my expertise in the field. I loved working with clients who were so excited to share their vision and me helping to execute it. After 3 years, an offer was presented to me, and I took it. (With much needed help from my parents) I bought the company.
Many years passed with me always having trouble finding an in-between with Family and work. Realizing something had to give and with the I-4 project in full swing making my commute to Orlando a living nightmare, searching for a closer location became my goal. I live in Sanford so why not start here. Knowing Woolf’s closed the doors this location became a possibility. I never thought that my career would make a dramatic shift and a brand-new project with turning the building into a venue instead of a new catering location.
520 on the Water Is a family owned business. We try hard to accommodate all clients. Due to my experience, my focus is on Weddings. I work with brides, and I am often hired to be their day of coordinator. I go above and beyond with helping in all areas needed from set up, decor, and guiding them the best I can. I love this venue but 520 Is not for everyone. If it’s not your style, if it doesn’t fit into your vision, keep looking. The important thing is you find a location that you love. After all this is your day, not mine. Just know we are here for you if the shoe fits.
