About
I have been providing music for weddings, cocktail receptions, private parties, and at fine dining restaurants throughtout the Monadnock Region, Southern Vermont and Northwestern MA since 2008. I have a repertoire that spans genres from Classical to contemporary and I'm happy to learn whatever tunes you request ahead of time. Whether you want the traditional Bridal March, Pachelbel's Canon in D, or Natalie Cole's "This Will Be", I will play your choice of processional and recessional music. And I'll provide 30 minutes of music prior to your ceremony while your guests arrive, as well as music after the wedding while folks are departing for the reception. If your venue doesn't have a piano or keyboard on site, I provide my own along with my sound system and an extra mic for any announcements.
If you'd like, I can also provide music during your rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, cocktail reception or wedding dinner. I've got a nice selection of favorite standards from the American Song Book (think George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, and Duke Ellington), some classic country favorites, and lots of pop and soft rock from the 1970s and 80's that will provide a relaxed, sophisticated and romantic vibe. My repertoire includes a lot of instrumental covers of James Taylor, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Carole King, Paul Simon, Elton John, and more - and I can mix in some soft vocals for added variety, all at a volume that still allows for conversation. My goal is to provide just the right ambiance and some dance music without becoming the center of attention.
