From start to finish, she was an absolute dream to work with—proactive, detail-oriented, and always one step ahead. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but Felicia’s expertise and calming presence made the process not only manageable but genuinely enjoyable. We got married 10/5/24 on Hilton Head Island, while we live in Chicago, and she made planning a destination wedding as easy as possible for us. She also recommended our photographer, which turned out to be another amazing decision!

On the big day, everything ran smoother than we could have imagined. Felicia handled every detail with care and precision, ensuring that we could focus on enjoying the moment. The decorations and the venue looked absolutely stunning—she brought our vision to life better than we could have dreamed. Her keen eye for detail was evident in every aspect, from the elegant centerpieces to the perfectly timed schedule. She surprised me with flowers that we initially thought wouldn't be possible, and it made my bouquets that much more beautiful. She handled all of the florals, decor for ceremony/cocktail hour/reception, and day-of coordinating. She brought the rooms to light while being conscious of our taste and budget.

Felicia was also a phenomenal liaison with our venue. She communicated seamlessly, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch and that everyone was on the same page. We felt completely at ease knowing she was coordinating behind the scenes.

Absolutely best Wedding Director I have ever worked with. Felicia always goes above and beyond. She doesn't just recommend she actually coordinates everything on your wish list. Her team sets everything up and handles all the tear down so worry free process. You deal with one person she manages all the other teams. She handles all the flower arrangements as well as the decorations. She is wonderful to work with.

Felicia has been incredible during my wedding planning process. Down to every detail Felicia was amazing. On your special day she makes sure that you are carefree and enjoy each moment. There were a few last minute changes that would have cost a small fortune but Felicia handled it. She not only plans but does all of the floral arrangements and decor. Truly an elegant event. Can’t say or thank you enough.

From the very beginning, Felicia was FANTASTIC. I had initially contacted another wedding coordinator but got turned off when the half-day fee quoted on her site kept creeping higher and higher and higher, without a satisfactory explanation. We finally decided that we had to go elsewhere. When I told Felicia about that experience, she promised right away that she'd provide everything we wanted, within our budget. Not only that, but we live in Virginia and weren't arriving in Hilton Head until 5 days before the wedding - so I had to trust her to pull it all together without meeting us or seeing the site in person until the day beforehand. And she delivered!! With her design experience, she was able to understand my vision for our day - from the ceremony to the flowers, food, cake, and photography - and make suggestions/provide options to enhance all of it. She was always available by phone, email, and text, and we exchanged pictures to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted (especially when it came to my bouquet and the floral arrangements!). When the Big Day came, she went above and beyond with the flowers, decor, set-up, and coordination during the event. Our guests loved her. She even surprised us with a beautiful set of Mr. and Mrs. champagne flutes for our toast - the one thing I'd forgotten to get! My husband honestly had no idea what to expect from a wedding and reception, but afterwards he said "I thought everything was perfect. I wouldn't have done anything differently!" and then proceeded to tell me details of Felicia's multi-faceted design background. He's not a "people person" and doesn't make conversation easily - so for him to have spent that much time talking to her, says SO MUCH about how open and genuine she is. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to anyone planning an event in the Low Country!!

Felicia was absolutely phenomenal to work with, to say the least! She helped take all of my stresses away while planning for my big day. She did so much more than I could have ever hoped she would do. Not only was she my planner, she was also taking on a florist role as well! She was so eager and excited to do this! I could tell that it meant a lot to her to make our special day as beautiful as it could possibly be! She made it very clear throughout the process that she would make sure that happened! She most definitely meant it! She made the most gorgeous table arrangements, and picked the most beautiful flowers to go with the colors of our wedding! The table arrangements were absolutely unforgettable, and it made me wish flowers stayed that way forever! I already had a florist helping with the wedding at the time. However, Felicia took what they already had, and added so much more to it! I cannot even begin to imagine how different things would have looked if she hadn’t expressed the excitement that she did to help us with our floral arrangements! She listened to everything I envisioned, and made it come to life in such an unreal way! She’s very reliable, and quick to respond! She’s great at communication, and you can definitely count on her to answer any questions that you could possibly have! She’s very knowledgeable in the wedding atmosphere! She will recommend things to you that you probably didn’t even think about yourself! That’s one of my favorite things about her! She has such incredible energy, and she’s a joy to be around! You can tell that she is passionate about what she does, and genuinely wants to help bring everything together! She put together the most gorgeous and phenomenal aisle decor for the ceremony! I could not have possibly imagined getting married without it there. She took all of my visions, and not only made them come to life, but she added things to them that she personally knew would go really well with everything and things she knew that we would love! She was great at communicating with my other vendors as well when needed! If you’re planning a wedding right now, and need help from someone who loves what they do, Felicia Higdon is without a doubt the person that you need by your side helping you plan your big day! Felicia was the perfect wedding designer and coordinator for my special day! She brought my exact wedding design dreams to life, from the beautifully landscaped aisle to the details in the table decor. My wedding was during the height of the pandemic and she coordinated and communicated effortlessly with the vendors we had. Felicia worked with my catering vendor to create an amazing dinner while also negotiating a lower price. I had my ceremony at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens which had strict restrictions on decorations (like no decorations that would puncture the grass and no real flower petals on the ground) and she was able to create an elegant, botanical aisle while complying with the restrictions. Felicia has an eye for design and that's why she's the perfect coordinator. Wherever my vendors lacked, she creatively made up for! My wedding reception was at the Thomas Jefferson Tower in downtown Birmingham. The ballroom has tall historic windows and a large chandelier, so my worry was that even with decor the room would still look empty. Felicia decorated with different height elements and extravagant table decor to make sure the room looked just perfect! Felicia and her team worked so hard and made the whole experience very enjoyable. I chose Felicia as my wedding designer because I felt that she really cared about making my vision come to life while also saving me money where she could. Felicia brought my exact wedding vision to life and provided the details and elegance I wanted. Felicia was an absolute joy to work with, and I would highly recommend her as a wedding designer and coordinator!

Felicia was SUCH an amazing resource to have while planning a wedding. Covid pushed everything back, but she was there for me the entire time. My wedding ceremony took place in the botanical gardens, followed by a beautifully decorated reception at a separate location. She designed, organized, and executed a dream wedding. The communication was seamless and she really knew what she was doing. I absolutely recommend Felicia for your big day!!
