WOW! Our reception at the Duncan Pavillion and Palettes were unforgettable! Many thanks to Denise, Esther and Brenda for all their attention to our special day. The food was AMAZING and the service was outstanding. Our guests have been raving about it all week!!

The Denver Art Museum was the perfect venue for our wedding. We got several compliments of the unique beauty that the museum provides. The staff is very professional and I had the utmost confidence in them before and during the event. Brenda, the event manager, made sure every detail was covered and executed each action with precision and confidence. The onsite caterer, Kevin Taylor, was some of the best wedding food I've ever had. They even made sure to provide my vegan cousins with their own special meals and when I wanted a unique menu item, they figured out a way to make it buffet ready. I highly recommend DAM for your wedding venue- you will not regret it!

The Kevin Taylor team at the Denver Art Museum was great to work with. The food quality was very good although the presentation lacked in creativity so any bride selecting this vendor should be clear and specific about how they would like their food presented should you opt for something like food stations for guests to mix and mingle. Although overall, I would definitely recommend them and the Denver Art Museum (namely Ponti Hall) for a beautiful wedding venue and caterer combination

As soon as my husband and I walked into Ponti Hall, we knew it was the most exquisite, perfect place for our special day and we didn't wait long to sign the contract and start planning our day in the most beautiful space in Denver. As foodies, the quality of the food was extremely important to my husband and I, and we wanted anything but the traditional icky wedding food. We have eaten at Restaurant Kevin Taylor, so were really excited that our wedding food would be new and different and would also taste great, as well.
We had many issues with Hillary throughout the year leading up to our wedding including her sending the wrong contracts & proposals and just genuinely being extremely disorganized. It came down to my husband and I AND our wedding planner having to go through every proposal and contract she sent us with a fine tooth comb because she always forgot our meal choices, would send us the wrong numbers, including the total amount. Our experience with her was quite difficult and our only saving grace was that our wedding planner was extremely on top of her at all times to advocate for us.
There aren't a ton of food choices, something that we didn't know beforehand. Anything and everything has to be provided by them, and they are limited to what they can do.
Our first tasting was absolutely horrendous- the food was cold, people weren't prepared, and the menu we chose wasn't there in its entirety. However, after stating very clearly our problems with the first tasting, the second tasting was flawless and Hillary redeemed herself.
On our day, I have to say, everything was seamless, despite the fact that the cake cutter went missing and guests had to wait a long time for cake. But if that's the only blip, I'd say it was a success! Honestly, working with them was nerve racking but our day was all that I ever dreamed of and more. The wait staff was incredible to our gusts and the space was GORGEOUS, and we are still guests still rave about the amazing food.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
