We are so happy we had Dennis officiate our wedding! We planned everything from out of state and Dennis set up a phone conversation with us to explain everything and get to know each other. He followed up by sending us several examples of ceremonies and really let us piece together the perfect ceremony. Dennis was responsive and easy to communicate with and very accommodating in how we wanted the ceremony to go. On the day of the wedding, Dennis arrived early to check in with us and instantly eased any nerves with his friendly demeanor! The ceremony was exactly what we wanted and Dennis does a great job to personalize the ceremony to the couple.

Dennis is an outstanding officiant. He has a genuine passion for what he does and it was evident throughout the whole process. When we met with Dennis in the planning phases, he gave us many ideas and samples to help us create our own personal ceremony. He also gave us a questionnaire to complete about each other that he incorporated into the ceremony, and neither myself or my husband knew what we wrote about each other until the day of the wedding. He was very calming and reassuring throughout planning as well.

Our ceremony was incredibly personal and emotional, and there were not many dry eyes in the room. During the reception, I had many people ask me how we knew Dennis and if he was a family member. Although he is not, this is a true testament of his character and shows how much he cares about the couples he works with and forms a connection with them. I would highly recommend Dennis for your wedding and you will be sure to have a ceremony you will never forget that is incredibly unique and personal. The ceremony is after all the most important part of a wedding and he did such an amazing job!

I can't say enough about Dennis; he is just phenomenal. He is kind, professional, and his passion for what he does really shines through. He let talked us through the whole ceremonial process and was very patient with us. He gave us tons of ideas and really helped guide us in the direction of creating our own ceremony that was personal and unique. He's adamant about the concept that "there are no rules when it comes to a wedding ceremony," and he truly helped us create something special that we will never see at other weddings.

Aside from that, Dennis is just a wonderful person and was a joy to work with. He had us answer questions about each other and created his own monologue based on our answers that we didn't get to see beforehand, so it was a total surprise. He weaved everything together in such a way that the ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, but not over the top. He was incredibly creative and thoughtful in his piece. We are so grateful he officiated our ceremony, and we would recommend him to anyone looking to get married! We legitimately had fun working with him, and we thank him from the bottom of our hearts.

Dennis was Amazing! We were on a time crunch looking for an officiant and he saved us by saying he was available. Meeting up with him was like meeting up with an old friend. He makes you feel completely comfortable and makes sure your vows are about You. There were laughs and happy tears from everyone at the ceremony. It was so heartfelt and personable which is exactly what we wanted. Couldn't have had anyone better as our officiant. Thank You again for making our day that much more memorable Dennis! :)

Dennis was an amazing officiant! We initially met with him about a year prior to our wedding. We knew immediately he was the right officiant for us! Dennis is the perfect mixture of professional, humorous and kind. He responded to my various e-mails over the year promptly, and took everything in stride (including a last minute request to personalize the ceremony more than initially planned). Dennis spoke of us at the ceremony like he had been part of out lives for years, we felt completely comfortable with him and are so pleased with the ceremony overall. Our family and friends enjoyed his ability to be engaging and funny while also genuine. We got countless compliments on his ability to deliver a ceremony that was not the usual snooze fest, but also was not cheesy.

Dennis Helmus was our justice of the peace at our New Year's eve wedding. We met with him while trying to pick out the person who would marry us, and he was just great! He wanted to me with us, asked us lots of questions to find out what we were looking for in a ceremony, and then put together different types of what we requested for us to look at, modify and have our own personal ceremony. He was very punctual with the emails as well as for the ceremony itself. He made our ceremony personal, like he was a good friend marrying us! A true experienced professional. Dennis will sit down and talk through exactly what you want your ceremony to be like. He will give you samples of ceremonies he has done the past and work with you to design yours. He makes sure he gets to know you as a couple so that it is personalized. His way with words is beautiful and he truly makes it a special moment. Personally, it was my favorite part of the our wedding. It felt so romantic, intimate, but at the same time real and unrehearsed!
