I would think that after seeing my captured moments and meeting me in person you would say that my style is very outgoing and fun. You might even use the words casual , contemporary, artistic, unposed, non-obtrusive, stylish. That's a lot of words, I know. But those have been the words to describe my work from other Bride and Grooms. I think it comes from how much I truly love captureing that special moment in your life and the type of work I do at weddings.
It is very important to me that you enjoy your special day that you have been planning over the years. I strive to capture you with your friends and family in a very casual and unobtrusive way. As you connect with my images I think you will see that I love to document the real-life emotion and all of the details that so many times are overlooked on such a busy day.
I shoot mostly with natural light, and when I use a flash, I do so in creative and dramatic ways. Whether your wedding is during the daytime or evening, I will give your photos the "WOW" factor that will have guests impressed every time they open your albums. My goal is for you to be absolutely thrilled with the beauty, joy and emotion captured in your pictures.

Where do I even start on how spectacular Dennis is?! He was an absolute gem. I experienced Dennis's art several years ago when he photographed my cousin's Cleveland wedding. I still think about that day and those pictures all the time. I reached out to him to see if I could be honored to have him as my wedding photographer, despite being in North Carolina, and this man agreed! I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am that not only did he travel on his own accord to photograph our special day, but he did such an amazing job. We had a few conversations with Dennis prior to and expressed our desire to not spend our entire day taking structured photos - we prioritized spending the day with our loved ones and each other. Candid photos are the best photos anyway! Dennis exceeded our expectations with capturing such amazing, candid, and artistic photos. He was kind, patient, and funny! Hiring Dennis and Mark is probably the best decision we made. Dennis is fun, easy to communicate, very responsive and flexible. The best hire for our big day
Having Dennis and Mark as our wedding day photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our special day. As soon as I first spoke with Dennis I could tell that our visions were aligned and I knew I could trust him to capture authentic moments with the people I love most. Both Dennis and Mark brought their energy and enthusiasm to the wedding day and their love for the art form was infectious. The bridal party never felt forced or staged and by the end of the night both photographers felt more like friends than vendors. Having Dennis Crider Photography at our wedding allowed me to live in the moment and not a day goes by that I don't admire his artistry on this momentous day. We couldn't recommend Dennis more- you will not be sorry!

Fun Photographer, High Quality Results
Dennis was FANTASTIC!! He provided an amazing balance of the wedding bread and butter shots as well as the fun creative ones. He is a true artist and it is wonderful to watch him work. Dennis made an effort to get to know everyone and to capture our relationships. His funny and lighthearted personality is one that I appreciated having on our wedding day.
My wedding morning was extra fun because the makeup artist I booked was a no-show. This ruined my perfectly crafted getting-ready timeline, and we arrived at the venue an hour later than anticipated. Dennis kept things moving and managed to create all the amazing pictures we wanted (and more!) in this crunched time frame.
P.S. I had such a hard time picking which pictures to put in the review because I love them all!!

Awesome photographer
We loved working with Dennis! I fell in love with his artsy yet authentic style when we were looking for a photographer. He was slightly above budget but he was well worth it! Dennis was a lot of fun to work with. My husband doesn't like being in pictures but Dennis made him feel comfortable and handsome. We are also dancers so having a photographer who could capture the dancefloor fun well was really important to us--Dennis delivered in that as well! I have litterally only one compliant: I had a special detail added to my bouquet to honor my grandfather that he did not capture in any pictures, which is unfortunate but that's okay.

Practically an honorary member of the bridal party!
Dennis was a phenomenal wedding photographer. He made me feel comfortable despite having no idea how to pose, he was efficient, and his photos were like something out of a magazine. Not to mention his turnaround was INCREDIBLY fast! I would trust Dennis with any photography project!

Exceptional!
The best decision you could make for your wedding is choosing Dennis as your photographer. If you want a someone who is artistic, creative, thoughtful, efficient, and exceptional at capturing the little (and big!) moments of your day... Dennis is the photographer you need. He not only captured the magic of our day, but he made our wedding album so unique and unlike any wedding photos I have ever seen before. He is truly a magician with angles and lighting, and everyone is still floored by the photos that he took of our wedding day. Like our entire wedding party kept saying all day - Dennis is the man!

One of the best decisions you can make.
My husband and I got married 9/12/2020. As you can imagine, we had many challenges planning a pandemic wedding, but we were set on our 9/12/2020 date. We planned a complete wedding in Chicago, IL, but a few months before our wedding, we had to relocate our entire wedding to Akron, Ohio.
The added stress was worth it because it got us exactly where we needed to be. We had our dream wedding (honestly, it was better than I could have envisioned) and Dennis was right there capturing all of it through his ridiculously talented eyes. I can’t express how incredibly wonderful Dennis and Mark were at our wedding. We didn’t have a videographer and it didn’t matter because the images Dennis Crider Photography gifted us are priceless.
Dennis was with me from the morning through our reception and he managed to capture moments that I will forever cherish. Working with Dennis throughout the whole process was amazing, I knew from our very first conversation that he was our photographer as I felt I had known him for years. He is amazingly talented, professional, and worth more than he charges. Hiring Dennis Crider Photography is one of the best decisions you can make for your big day. We love dennis!
We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Dennis. We started off with an engagement session to feel out our connection. He came to our family farm and we just had a blast. His creative expression and artistic ability were so evident in just that short time, that we knew we had to work with him for our wedding.
Dennis and a member of his team, Mark, shot our wedding for 10 hours, gave us a few sneak peeks the next day, and then the following day, emailed us to let us know all of our photos were safe and backed up. His turnaround time for the entirety of the wedding was about 2 weeks. We will go to his studio next week to relive the day on his huge monitors with a bottle of wine :)
I never knew how much more went into shooting a wedding than just pressing a button until I worked with him and Mark. They made everyone feel so comfortable (seriously....maybe too comfortable!!) and were a super fun addition to our crew. Their artistic lens and creative ideas made for so many fun, unique, and stunning shots that I know my husband and I will treasure for the rest of our lives. If you have the opportunity, you will NOT regret going with Dennis Crider!
