Deep Sea hosted our Welcome Party for our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. Deep Sea has the best view, the best staff, and the best wine. Sally was such a pleasure to work with. She coordinated everything and was so patient and amazing on the day of the event. Thank you, Sally, and Deep Sea.

I wanted to start a review for Deep Sea Winery as we had such a phenomenal experience working with them. This small tasting room on the Wharf in Santa Barbara is magical. While the one downside is that the space itself does not have a kitchen so you must use a caterer who will provide that from start to finish the rest was perfect. The customer service we experience while working with Taylor and then the owner Gillian was outstanding. This location is perfect for weddings with 50 or under. When researching places to host our reception we found so many places with 10 page documents with all the things you could and couldn't do. With Deep Sea it was so easy. We booked on the spot after connecting with Taylor in person and tasted the wines. It also doesn't hurt having good wine to serve your guests. The spot is stunning, we literally only put centerpieces down as the view from the outside seating area and the adorable wood charm inside doesn't need anything. We honestly could have gone to costco and ordered things and put up and they didn't care, we chose ease over that with booking a caterer, however we loved their relaxed nature. We got to use their hook up so played a music list and didn't need a DJ and the let us come in a few times to do some wine tastings and choose the wines we want. They were so sweet to hold one of the wines we loved as would have been gone when the wedding came and they knew we hoped to have it. If your looking for a venue in Santa Barbara that will be easy and breathtaking then please check out this spot as we can't rave enough about it and it's truly because the people were so down to earth and cared so much. We held our reception here. It was so nice and perfect. It is a small place. If you expect less than 30 people, it is perfect. There is, literally, no venue in Santa Barbara with better views.

It is too small for served sit down meals (where waiters bring your plates to you). We had a buffet style which was awesome because everyone got exactly what they wanted.

It is on Stearns Wharf, upstairs. There is no elevator. So if you have disabled guest, they will have to figure out how to get up the stairs.

We had tables along the patio, with seating on both sides. We had the buffet on the inside corner. We have snacks and the cake in the middle. The bar served wines.

Now the place is only licensed to serve wine. Their wine. But it is awesome wine, and reasonably priced. Everyone who was there loved it. No mixed drinks. They can't serve beer. But if your caterer has a beer license, then they can offer it, which is what I did. However, everyone like the wine so much that they only consumed 3 beers that night.

I can't give a 5.0 on flexibility because of their space, access, and alcohol licensing constraints. Not really their fault. But the rest of the benefits of this venue more than compensate for this. Everyone loved it.
