My husband and I booked Dear Elizabeth as our wedding photographer and they did not disappoint! We REALLY enjoyed working with our photographer throughout the entire planning and execution process. We selected them because they have a very elegant style and look to their photography. She was able to capture our photos with digital and film, which not every photographer is capable of doing. There were photographs I saw on social media I would send to Elizabeth as inspiration and during my wedding, she was able to replicate them all. Elizabeth was also able to capture the natural beauty of my wedding venue in the photos and they turned out incredible. They directed us to pose in specific ways, which was so helpful, and are extremely quick with their use of lighting. You can tell they know what they are doing and can get it done fast. Elizabeth was very personable and a joy to work with! I also ended up asking lots of questions in regards to our wedding day timeline and they were very accommodating and helpful in terms of helping me figure out the best timeline for the day. They wanted to ensure I was getting the most for my money. I highly recommend using Dear Elizabeth as your photographer!

Hiring Liz as the photographer for my wedding was honestly one of the best decisions I made during my whole wedding planning process! In short, she is an AMAZING human and so so talented at what she does. She was the easiest vendor to work with and made us feel so at ease on our wedding day and in our engagement session. You don't really realize how crazy your wedding day will actually be until it comes. Liz handles everything with such grace, kindness and expertise that it truly allows you to breathe, soak it all up and revel in the moment with the person you love most! She is so good at giving direction, she has an amazing vision and she is so efficient and AMAZING with awareness of time. She kept me so calm through everything and she literally kept me on time (day of wedding). But I don’t even think I need to speak on her talent, do I? Look at her pictures, they are beautiful! Liz was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to work with!! It’s hard to begin because there are SO MANY GOOD THINGS to write about her. For starters she is the nicest most personable person. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and right at home. The first time I met her I felt like I had known her for years. She is extremely passionate about what she does, and the people she works with. Liz took the most amazing photos for our engagement session and wedding. Her work is gorgeous, and speaks for itself. Her lighting could not be more perfect. She was professional in all aspects as well. Her communication was excellent, organization was excellent. And she got our photos back in a very timely manor. I would recommend Liz 1,000 times over to anyone looking for a photographer no matter the occasion! Liz has become a friend through the process and I am so thankful that we chose her! Liz was the perfect photographer for our wedding. One of the things that stood out most before we met her was her style of photography - her photos are bright and elegant, but she doesn't wash out all color (which is easy to do!). Leading up to our big day, she kept in contact and really got to know us so that she could come up with a sort of plan to take the best photos for us. We decided lots of candid photos and some posed portraits would be best for us - and she delivered! She caught the best smiles and the most genuine emotions with the candid photos, and she was very easy-going and professional with her direction for posed photos. She really let us lead and didn't push us to continue with photos after we were tired, and we really appreciated that because weddings are exhausting! Not even two days after our wedding, Liz emailed us a sneak peek of our photos. They were perfect! Overall, Liz is professional and SO talented. She was a pleasure to work with, and I would strongly recommend her!

Elizabeth was the best photographer my wife and I could have asked for. She was extremely accommodating and instantly became best friends with my wife! She made us feel so comfortable while taking the pictures and we had so much fun laughing and enjoying our time! A few months before our wedding, our original photographer unexpectedly had to pull out due to personal circumstances. Liz, who happened to be available for the day of our wedding, came highly recommended to us - and now we know why! She is SENSATIONAL - full stop. From the very beginning, she dived right in and dedicated time to get to know us as a couple via phone calls and consistent email communication. When my now-husband and I visited Charleston with our mothers for our tasting, Liz happily met with us for coffee so that we could get to know her and talk a bit more about what we wanted out of our wedding photography.

Liz is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but she is also communicative, friendly, warm, and so easy to work with! Last minute, we decided to add a pre-ceremony "couple's" photo shoot to our photography package. Liz picked us up from our hotel, had already selected beautiful spots in the downtown for the photo shoot based on feedback she had previously fished out of us, AND greeted us with the most thoughtful gift and card. She really thinks about how she can help to make sure that this day is everything you hope it will be. Liz was an absolute delight to work with as an wedding photographer. She did our engagement photos, my bridal photos, and our wedding photos. She was always flexible and willing to do whatever was necessary. We had to reschedule our engagement photos multiple times due to rain and she never had a problem. She also came prepared with different locations to photograph in and different poses to arrange us it. When it came time for bridal portraits she did the research to find the perfect location and it really shows in the pictures, they are stunning! Taking bridal portraits can be a little nerve racking but her calming and upbeat demeanor put me right at ease. She was able to get me to relax and enjoy the moment. She was able to capture that natural smile and happiness that I think a lot of photographers miss. Her wedding photos are bright, light, romantic, and exactly what we were looking for. I can not recommend her enough.
