De Barkley and her team are a highly talented group of professional hair and makeup artists experience in various areas such as fashion, print, film, video, bridal and special events. With more than 10 years experience, De has the ability to achieve any flawless look from soft and natural to edgy and avant garde. She is an expert in all skin tones and hair textures utilizing salon quality and hypoallergenic products to create a fresh look that lasts day and night. She has studied under former MAC artist Marisa Lambert, attended Arrojo Cosmetology School and Make-Up Designory and is a NY State licensed cosmetologist.

De grew up in the New York Metro area where her artistic gifts were recognized at a very young age. With her parents’ encouragement, she studied dance, voice and acting throughout her childhood where she got her first taste of hair and makeup artistry, creating looks to compliment her costumes and characters. A love of the entertainment industry and her need to always “think out of the box,” lead her to study marketing in college and become an executive working for such international media companies as Playboy Enterprise and MTV Networks. While enjoying an exciting marketing career, De decided to make her cosmetology dream a reality and started her own freelance business. She continues to educate herself on the latest trends and loves to share her knowledge with others.

De’s vibrant personality, calm demeanor and sincere professionalism puts people at ease, and everyone that sits in her chair is given the star treatment.
