My husband and I heard about dc tux from a friend of ours and decided to use them for our wedding. They had a brand new store with a great selection of tuxes and vests! The whole staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved that they had all of their stock in the store because we had to change a size last minute. I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends!

Had a wonderful experience! The staff was so professional and helpful. My husband is a larger guy and there was no problem in fitting him. He even got to try on several styles before we committed to ordering so we could actually see how they would look. The Thurs. before the wedding everything was all ready for pickup. It was great to work with people who really cared to make our special day a success! The price was extremely competitive, too.

My wedding was June 1, 2012. My husband has used DC Tux several times in the past to rent tuxes for work related events so when we got engaged there was no question where to go. The workers are always very courteous and more than helpful....and actually care about satisfying their customers. We picked out the style we wanted for our wedding; got all the groomsmen measured and even got my husband's tux for free!
Everyone looked great and we couldn't be happier with our experience. I highly recommend Dc Tux and will definitely return!

I would highly recommend using DC Designers Tux Shops for your men! My husband doesn't have a large frame, so it was nice for him to actually be able to try on a jacket in the right size. They have many things on site that are able to be tried on and they can also order vests, ties, and just about anything else in many different colors and patterns. The staff is very helpful and they were a joy to work with!

The Groom and his Brother both needed extra long tuxes and we went several places trying to find what we wanted and they weren't very helpful. The people at DC went out of their way to make sure we got everthing we needed and even made a trip to a different store to pick up a vest for us when one of them didn't fit. They were extremely helpful, definitely the way to go.

Some friends of ours recommended DC Designers so my husband and I went to them for our wedding tuxedos. They had a lot of styles to choose from, much more than the two other stores we went to. My husband tried on several different tuxedos and I thought he looked really nice in the one we picked (a Jean Yves). One of our groomsmen was from out of town and I was wondering how he could order, but he was able to get measurements done at a tux shop near where he lives and submit them on the DC Designers website. We had no problems with picking up or returning the tuxedos. Everything about thiis store was a good experience for us, I would recommend it.

My experience with DC Tux started at the highest levels, a 5 on this scale, but ended in shock and awe. I had my tux ordered three months in advance of my wedding, but when I had called to confirm three weeks out, they had no record. I went in and worked through re-ordering as it seemed like a mistake that couldn't happen again. At this point, my satisfaction was knocked down to a 3 or 4 because I had such a great initial experience. However, the reason it is now a 1 is because when I asked that the owner call me to reassure that they would come through for me, he called and very defensively stated a number of reasons of why I was mistaken. I was shocked and after getting tired of him lecturing me, I was compelled to hang up on him. I hope he doesn't treat all his customers this way when an issue comes up, but as you can expect it was worth the extra time and money for me to rent elsewhere just three weeks before my wedding.

DO NOT, even in the most desperate of circumstances, use DC Tux. They had *TERRIBLE* service and if it wasn't for my persistent mother-in-law & husband, we would not have had tuxes on our wedding day. We were married on Friday 6/1/12, and our guys wore a light gray Calvin Klein tuxedo. We were first told that we would have the tuxes no later than Wednesday. That didn't happen but the shop promised they would arrive first thing Thursday morning (wedding was Friday). My groom & dad got their tuxes after a 2-HOUR WAIT at the shop, but the rest of our groomsmen were kept waiting all day (luckily not at the shop). After hearing many excuses ~ at one point the manager told my mother-in-law that my husband was *LYING* about when he was told the tuxes would arrive ~ the tuxes never arrived and our guys had to go to rehearsal without their tuxes. DC Tux also used excuses like it was the first weekend after a holdiay (1 week after Memorial Day), so they "couldn't be responsible" for the delay. At one point the shop manager said, "It's not our fault you're getting married on a Friday." Um, EXCUSE ME?! If you make a commitment to a customer, honor it! DC Tux makes promises they can't keep. Luckily my husband had the owner's cell phone number and called him directly to work things out on the night before our wedding. The groomsmen had to meet the delivery truck ON OUR WEDDING DAY to pick up their tuxes from the truck driver, with only 2 hours to spare until pictures started, so no one got fitted profesionally. Luckily we had a friend who could help us make do. Overall it was a *HORRIBLE* experience. DO NOT TRUST DC TUX and DO NOT USE THEM for your wedding or any other special occasion! Go to Men's Warehouse, Jos. A Bank, or ANYWHERE BUT HERE or you will be sorry. I promise I would never give a bad review unless someone really deserved it, but DC Tux truly deserves a TERRIBLE review because of all the stress they created on our wedding day (which was otherwise amazing). *****DO NOT USE DC TUX!*****
