I am writing to recommend David Bridge as a wedding pianist for your big day! I feel well qualified to speak to David’s considerable musical talents as well as how delightful it is to work with him - he was our Director of Music and Worship Arts at the church I attended, where he functioned as church organist, choir director, and director of worship for several years. I have taken piano lessons from him for 3 years. He also was the pianist for my daughter’s wedding in March of this year. David has played in over 400 weddings inspired by all different religious traditions and non-religious traditions. He has a degree in Music Education and is extremely well versed in all the cherished classical music we have known and loved throughout the years as well as contemporary music. Since he has played in all styles of weddings, he is extremely helpful in assisting in crafting a beautiful, meaningful service that expresses YOUR unique personality. He is the kindest, most easy-going person and he is a wonderful listener. He truly wants this to be YOUR special day. He will make wonderful suggestions based on his vast experience, but he will never try to impose his ideas on you. You will be amazed as you are working with him and certain song ideas come up, he will just randomly be able to start playing them on the piano from memory or quickly sight reading music he looks up. His musical skills are AMAZING! You will be so impressed! He is very well versed in using Zoom and my daughter and son-in-law live in Washington, DC and did all their meetings with David via Zoom prior to the rehearsal here in Pittsburgh and everything worked out fine! After my daughter and son-in-law met with David the first time, they both were delighted to be working with him, and felt SO FORTUNATE to have found him! My daughter’s wedding was in a non-traditional setting - it was in a museum and a dear friend officiated the ceremony. Their wedding turned out BEAUTIFULLY, and David’s musical contributions and ceremony suggestions were an integral part of helping create that wonderful day that we will cherish in our hearts forever!
