Wedding planning is stressful; working with Amy is NOT! Amy is so sweet (like her desserts) and easy to work with. Whatever your dessert desires are, Amy will say "YES" and the results will look & taste amazing. Our wedding cake desires were pretty off-beat as you can tell from the photos; Amy didn't bat an eye. She incorporated flour from my husband's grain farm into the cake, which was very important to us. She also made a smaller gluten and dairy-free cake to accommodate our family members with allergies. Amy does it all - she is the rock star of bakers. Look no further than Darling Cake!!!

From the minute I stepped into Amy’s house for the cake tasting and took a bite of her delicious cake, I knew that she would be able to make the wedding cake of my dreams! Amy is so lovely to work with. Always available, always friendly and caring, always helpful...I emailed her photos of my ideas and she was more than happy to make it happen! On the wedding day itself, she could not have been more professional. She arrived on time and I walked into the room as she was setting up the most beautiful cake I’ve ever seen. And it was so delicious, too. We chose vanilla cake and spice cake with vanilla buttercream and raspberry preserve. Our guests raved about the cake (literally I heard this over and over: “this is the best wedding cake I’ve ever had”) and they told us they sought out second and third slices. Could you really ask for anything more than that? Thank you so much, Amy! You are truly incredible.

Amy was wonderful. She was very responsive and communicative. She worked closely with me to create the cakes I wanted, both in flavor and design. On the big day, she made everything come to life. I loved all of her designs and the cakes were so tasty. She even offers very affordable cake stand rentals. We got so many compliments on how delicious the cakes were that we would definitely go with her again! Highly recommend!

Amy of Darling Cake is incredibly talented and wonderful to work with. For our wedding we had a small cake for the bridal party and cupcakes for our guests. She made sure that even the tiniest of details on each confection was delicately handled, and the entire presentation was cohesive and beautiful. On top of that, the cake tasted amazing. Offering us the full flexibility to do exactly what we wanted, and coming up with creative solutions to do it within our budget, Amy made sure that our dream wedding was complete with our dream cake (and cupcakes!). We couldn't have been happier with her work.

I loved working with Amy on our wedding cake. We met several times to work out every detail from the flavor to the look of it. I could not have asked for a more perfect cake for our peacock themed wedding!

Amy's cake was delicious! After a couple of disappointing tastings at local bakeries in Ithaca, New York, we stumbled upon Amy's website and are glad we did. We scheduled a tasting and she provided generous samples of cupcakes and was even willing to make us a small cake that we could also try. Needless to say, the tastings -- the cake and all the frosting options -- were moist and delicious. The rates Amy charges were reasonable and well worth the money. She was reliable and always willing to modify our order when we changed our minds. On our wedding day, she delivered the cakes we ordered (we decided to have one small wedding cake for ourselves, and then bigger sheet cakes to cut for our guests) on time and they were wonderful. Everyone raved. I have since recommended Amy's cakes to several people and will continue to do so.
