TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE!!! I don't know where to begin....I recently got married, and Dante Flowers & “DESIGNS", a.k.a Hamlet was “RECOMMENDED” to me. When I first met with Hamlet, he began to boast about his abilities as a "DESIGNER" and that he is not just an everyday florist. He actually scrutinized the work of other florists, stating that they only create round typical centerpieces, unlike him, who creates unique designs that fit the vision of the bride. We sat down and I informed him of what I wanted, he drafted my backdrop and centerpieces to make sure that we were both on the same page. Prior to my wedding, he disappeared...apparently he went on a trip without notifying me that he has left the country and when he would return. His lack of communication was terrible...you can imagine how stressful this was for me. I was frantically trying to communicate with him. Four days prior to my wedding, he returned from his trip, and still did not contact me. After countless attempts on my end, I was finally able to reach him. When speaking with him to sort out the details for the flowers, his constant response to me was that he was tired and he just gotten back from a trip. He had promised and drafted a backdropped, which he failed to deliver. The centerpieces that he had drafted was not what he delivered…he delivered your "typical round" centerpieces. He does not provide a contract hence I could not hold him responsible for anything. If you do business with him. If after reading this and you still choose to do business with him, I recommend that you draft a contract with him, specifying every single detail of what he is to do and what he is charging you for! He was to do the flowers for my house (the brides house)…last minute he tells me he has too much to do and will not be able complete the work for my house. Last minute I had to find a florist to decorate my house. The day before my wedding, he would not answer my calls......
