Perfect place to find a dress!

I heard of Dala’s before I was seriously looking for my wedding dress. They were the second shop I went too. I loved the feeling of being in this store, the friendliness of the staff. I love that they were there to help me and make sure each step of the road was token care of. Even if you don’t find the dress of your dreams, give them a chance to show you what it is like to go to a small town store. It is an experience I think everyone should try.

Loved my whole experience with Dala's Bridal

After several less than enjoyable experiences wedding dress shopping local to Columbia, we visited Dala's bridal and had a great experience. Tracey was the consultant that helped me, speaking to me first about my style preferences and what I might be looking for (and what I wasn't) and then bringing in several options to try on. I ended up going with the first dress I tried on and as it was my size and a new dress to their collection, I didn't have to order my dress!

One of the things that really impressed us was their vast knowledge about wedding dresses and how to alter them appropriately. I have an hour-glass figure with a large bust, and I wanted to be able to sit down in my gown, which made me think that I couldn't have a fitted gown through the waist. Dala's was the first place that had simple answers and help for both of these problems. Tracey said that to sit in a fitted gown you just pulled it up at the hips and when you stand the weight of the dress would pull it back into place. Other places just said 'Awww, yeah, I guess you can't wear a dress like that if you want to sit down'. Worked perfectly and I wore a fit-and-flare style gown for my wedding, sitting comfortably, and often.

For fitting, all of the other dress shops suggested taking the dresses in at the side, to fit it to my waist, but never suggested any alteration that would flatter (or make it comfortable) for my bust. Yolanda walked in and immediately said, 'Oh, you just take these seams in under the bust, no problem!' So yes - much more knowledgeable about dresses and how to alter them.

It was clear, during the fittings, that Yolanda had a lot of experience. Adding straps and a little more material in the front was no problem for them and made my dress that much more comfortable for me. It was fitted so perfectly that I ended up not even wearing a bra or any kind of support wear, which was wonderful! My dress was beautiful and I felt beautiful in it.

Wonderful experience! I purchased my bridal gown along with all bridesmaid dresses from Dala's Bridal for my October wedding. Tracey and Yolanda assisted me through choosing the perfect bridal gown to making sure it fit perfectly. Their knowledge and customer service is impeccable. I would definitely use Dala's Bridal again and highly recommend their services to anyone!

Dala's is a great place to find a wedding dress! I live in Washington DC but am getting married in Missouri, so I thought I'd definitely find my dress in the DC metro with all the plus size wedding boutiques. But that wasn't the case. I tried on what seemed like hundreds of gowns and didn't fall in love with any of them. However, when I visited my parents one weekend in Missouri, my mom took me to Dala's. The shop was unassuming and appeared small, and I doubted they had many options for plus size girls...until I got inside. The staff was kind, helpful, and picked out six different dresses for me to try on. When I stepped into the third dress, I fell in love. From that point on, Dala's had my heart. Through a series of fittings, last minute appointment calls from DC, and a bra fiasco (I had to take the dress to get fitted for a bra and return it), the staff took good care of me. They were professional, flexible, and bent over backward to ensure the dress was perfect for my day. I highly recommend Dala's for any formal event!

Dala's Bridal Boutique was by far the most wonderful part of my dress shopping experience. Although I did not end up purchasing my dress through Dala because I live several hours from the boutique, my experiences in her store are by far the most memorable of the months leading up to my wedding. When I think back on my days of wedding preparations, my favorite memories will be the ones that Dala made possible. She made the experience of shopping for a wedding dress everything it should be. My bridesmaids and I had so much fun shopping for my dress, and Dala had excellent advice for me concerning colors for my wedding party. I would highly recommend her boutique to anyone without reservation!

I wanted to have the "bridal" experience, but I also didn't want to be told I look good in something I didnt', just so an associate could have "a sale". Dalas staff is professional, caring, thoughtful and honest. My appointments have always been wonderful and they take time to listen and meet your needs. I have my dream dress and the price was reasonable. I enjoy each time I go. I got my bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses there as well. You feel special when you work with someone at Dala"s. They know this is one of the most important dresses you will ever wear and they want you to feel beautiful and know you picked the right dress.

Dala's is a big bridal shoppe in a small town. I wouldn't even have known about it unless my grandmother had mentioned it, but I am so glad she did. The staff at Dala's are absolutely wonderful! They had a larger selection of dresses to try on than any other place I visited. My bridal consultant was so attentive and was clearly dedicated to making sure I found the perfect gown. I tried on gowns for about 3 hours before I found the perfect one, and she was there the entire time--patiently suggesting gowns and helping me make my final decision. Dala's has an alterations person in-house who made sure my dress fit perfectly and that my mom and made of honor knew exactly how to bustle my dress. Dala's made my wedding gown and my wedding day perfect!

I ordered my wedding gown and my bridesmaids dresses, and bought my cake knife/server, ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket from Dala's. They have hundreds of wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses in stock, as well as a wide selection for mothers of brides. They have a line of men's formal wear, lots of jewelry at very reasonable prices, and many miscellaneous items like unity candles, ring bearer pillows, and guest books. The staff at Dala's are so friendly, too! They were very helpful and professional and I never felt like just a customer.
