D-D Catering went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding. The food was delicious, the prices were more than fair, and they truly did us a solid in making things accessible for our guests with dietary restrictions. We knew the food would be delicious -- anyone who has been to their restaurant or a tasting will not be disappointed. Their food made everyone happy, across a wide range of palettes. What really impressed us was their accommodation of our guests dietary restrictions. There were several options for vegan and vegetarian guests that held their own with the meat options, only one sauce had gluten and it was clearly marked and pointed out, and most impressively, they did our entire menu without canola oil for no extra cost since one of our guests had an allergy. We would highly recommend D-D Catering for any event.

Chef Duy and his team did an amazing job at our wedding. We were able to organize tastings beforehand which helped us decide on the menu. Our wedding menu was bo kho birria tacos (my favorite), a Vietnamese charcuterie board, garlic noodles, japchae, miso eggplant, a carving station with two kinds of meat (churrasco picanha and lechon pork belly which was delicious) with grilled vegetables, lion king salmon (also very good) and two kinds of che (a Vietnamese dessert that everyone loved). The food was a highlight for many guests who commented that it was delicious and more interesting than typical food at weddings. The price was affordable for a Bay Area wedding, and I highly recommend DD!

D-D Catering provided onsite catering service for my wedding, and I had the best experience working them!

Duy and Diane were very easy to communicate and collaborate with. They were very responsive with their emails and texts, and they were always open to any suggestions or ideas that me or my wife had.

From the moment we tried their food we knew we had to move forward with them for our wedding. We opted for the family style dinner service. They allowed us to customize the menu to fit our preferences and to accommodate for guest's dietary restrictions. The most popular dinner items were the lion king salmon and the sousvide picanha steak!

We also decided to add appetizers later on in the planning phase, which they were more than willing to add. They also recently added an option to have a Che Station, which we eventually agreed to include. Thank goodness we did, because it was a big hit with our guests! The presentation for both the appetizers and the che station was amazing!

Overall, Duy and Diane were very pleasant to work with, and the food both looked and tasted great. I will definitely come back for any catering needs in the future, and highly recommend them for any of your events!

We loved their food, loved working with Diane and Chef Duy, and all our guests loved it too! My grandparents went for seconds - and they are Indian vegetarian - and so did many of my wife's relatives who are Chinese. We cannot recommend them strongly enough, especially if you are hosting an Indian, Chinese, or other Asian wedding. If you want Asian food, D-D Catering has you covered.

Most of all, thank you Chef Duy and Diane for calmly and professionally handling any issues that came up, including problems with the rental oven. It was a joy to work with you and your team. Very transparent, very responsive, excellent value, good service, 100% professional.

The service was great and they did warmed up the food before serving. Foods texture are nice and amazing how they decorate.

I've been to many weddings before and food was never the highlight. My husband and I are huge foodies and knew one thing: we gotta get the food right and sure enough we did! D-D catering served our 125 person wedding a variety of asian cuisines and nailed every flavor note. Our guests raved about the salmon, many went up for seconds and thirds (we had a buffet), and we even saw some mouth the words "OMG so GOOD".
We got the buffet option for our wedding to present a. variety of the delicious dishes. Here is what we got:

Appetizers: Braised Pork Belly Bao, Papaya salad w/ Beef Jerky, Seafood toast
Entree: Umami Steak, Miso glazed eggplant, Cajun Shrimp garlic noodles, lion king salmon, Japanese miso broccoli salad
Dessert: Sticky rice pudding, fruit board

The food is as delicious as it sounds. Other than that, they were super flexible! They were able to give vegetarian options, Hor'dourves service, and cake cutting as well to fit the needs of our wedding. If you'd like a plated option, they offer that as well! Additionally, they were super great with communication and our wedding coordinator had only positive things to say about them. I would highly recommend DD-catering!

One of our friends highly recommended D-D Catering to us when we were looking for a caterer for our wedding. We trust her taste and after looking at pictures from past catering events decided to go with D-D Catering. We went with a buffet and there were so many amazing choices. Service was exceptional the day of and many guests told us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. You can't go wrong with having D-D Catering as your wedding caterer.
