If you're in the Oswego, New York area in search of a place to satisfy your sweet tooth, look no further. Everyone in the area raves about the place and it does not take long to realize why. Their cupcakes are unreal. This review reflects multiple experiences with the store as well as the fantastic experience we had with the Cupcakers providing dessert for our wedding at Alexandria's in Oswego, New York. During the planning phase of the wedding, the Cupcakers' reputation meshed with the groom's desire for serving something other than traditional wedding cake as dessert. A year before the wedding itself, parents to the bride and groom, skeptical of this "no-cake" approach to wedding dessert, sampled a box of mini cupcakes. The discussion immediately turned from "if we serve cupcakes" to "how many" and "which flavors work best?" Flash forward to the wedding itself: hundreds of mini cupcakes were decoratively arranged across a long table, clustered according to flavor. A separate, mulit-tiered tower of mini cupcakes formed the proverbial "wedding cake". At the top was a small personal-sized cake for the bride and groom to ceremoniously cut into. Guests of all ages (single digits to those in their 80s) LOVED this "different" kind of wedding dessert. We kept receiving compliments about how serving cupcakes further contributed to a fun and friendly wedding atmosphere and how much everyone liked the taste!
For reference, the Cupcakers worked really well with Alexandria's in Oswego, New York. Every in-person visit to their store was met with a friendly and knowledgeable staff member. Since we aren’t from the Oswego area, every visit to the area is met with a trip to cupcakers!

We went to the Liverpool location and were an awe of all the wonderful treats. We were able to taste the variety of cupcakes for our wedding. We couldn't decide (they were all unbelievable) and the best part was my fiance ( a chef & owner of a restaurant-who is extremely picky) was even blown away! I can't wait for our wedding cake, luckily I can order tasty treats until then! Best cupcakes I've ever had!!!!

Amy did an amazing job! Not only were the cupcakes and our cake amazing and beautiful. But, Amy produced the exact vision I had for the display at our reception. Everyone raved on the amazing flavors Cupcakers offered! You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend them!

Amazing! I ordered 12 dozen specialty mini cupcakes, 17 pounds of wedding cookies and a mini wedding cake to cut. My guests ate EVERY SINGLE dessert option. I had nothing but compliments for them. If you are ever in Oswego, NY I recommend splurging on a piece of their dessert! A MUST GO! THANKS

Mmm! I LOVE CupCakers! :) The cupcakes that Amy makes are out of this world and at a very reasonable price. For our wedding we tried to play to our wedding venue colors (a renovated theater - The Kallet Theater in Pulaski,NY), which were red, black, gold, and ivory. We went with red velvet, triple chocolate, salted caramel, and coconut. We also did a small red velvet cake for us to cut and share. The presentation of the cupcakes was beautiful for our big day. Amy came to the venue and set them up on a cupcake tower with sparkling twinkle lights and tulle. It was beautiful. Not only was the presentation excellent, so was the taste! I am no stranger to the CupCakers' table at the farmer's market or their shop in Oswego, NY, so I knew we were getting nothing but the best. We received so many compliments and on how delicious and cute our cupcakes were.

I would highly recommend CupCakers for any wedding, anniversary, birthday, holiday, event, or just any day you are looking for a sweet & tasty treat! Thank you CupCakers for helping to make our wedding day perfect!

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! Amy is so easy to work with, coordinating every detail for the perfect spread of sweets. The flavor choices are out of this world, and the price is beyond reasonable for the quality of these cup cakes. I would recommend CupCakers to anyone looking for the tastiest treats around Oswego!!

We used this shop for our Wedding recently. The cupcakes and cake were good. Unfortunately they lack professionalism, I sent an email to the email listed on the card she gave but me she didn’t respond to it for weeks and I had to look up another one on her website to get a reply. After making plans over a few emails it was decided what we would have and that she would deliver it and set it up. I paid the deposit and then my daughter paid the balance off shortly after. I received invoices for the balance even though it was paid in full and I had to get a hold of her to delete the invoice. Shortly before the wedding I reached out again to give her the set up times at the reception with no response. Most emails came through poorly written with no capitalization almost like a text message. I found that odd for a business but hey it’s 2019 and everyone acts like this I guess. So luckily they showed up I was honestly wondering if they would even be there. Now here is the upsetting part she never once said anything about us retaining and returning her pedestals or signs. The facility gave us a few items of theirs and I thought it was by accident and did plan to to give them back. So some time after the wedding she text me and asked for her stuff as if it was my responsibility to return it. I was a little shocked because I had no idea that she would expect someone to be handling this after their wedding especially since she NEVER told me. When I told her I ended up with a few things but didn’t have the all the items she was asking for she promptly replied with the prices I would need to pay for them. She needs to be more clear on this piece of puzzle because it’s a big one and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone now. Also, if I had known I was responsible for them I would have made sure I knew what she was bringing so I could be sure to have the items and return them. Even worse yet a work colleague of mine used her for a Grad Party this summer and she did the same thing to her never mentioned this at all and was very rude to her when she called to ask when she was picking the items up from the restaurant. Beware that this shop expects you to be a mind reader and is not good at putting things in writing or responding timely if at all. I am not sure if they have gotten too big too fast and are losing site of customer service or if they’re just that disorganized. Either way I am not impressed.
