Crystal Moments Event Planning

Lauren Medlock owner of Crystal Moments and Kiauna are top notch. My daughter-in-law found them at a time when our first wedding coordinator quit, two months before the wedding. I wish we would have found Crystal Moments at the beginning of the wedding plans. Lauren and Kiauna took on the planning challenge of coordinating the wedding in less than 2 months. They quickly saw our needs and at such a short notice put the stress of the bride, groom and family at ease with her organized skills, communication, ideas and planning. From assisting with decorating to the final close of the evening they were beside us every step of the way. Thank you Lauren and Kiauna for squeezing us in while already having a busy schedule. It was a beautiful wedding and we thank you both for coordinating all the details which gave our son and daughter-in-law their dream wedding.

Above and Beyond

I found Lauren on a wedding Facebook group when my previous wedding coordinator dropped out two months before my wedding. Lauren reached out to me and picked up the pieces, basically from the ground up. My previous coordinator I have worked with for 6 months prior to this and we had met twice for several hours each time and had nothing to show for that time. Lauren came in and took charge. She brought her creative ideas and recommendations and ran with it! She was a rockstar! She frequently checked in and was always available to answer my questions and concerns at any time!

Lauren and her assistant helped me create the wedding of my dreams. I am a DIY girl and made al of my decorations with no help so setting up the venue the day before was a challenge. The venue only provided tables and chairs. WE HAD TO DO EVERYTHING and Lauren and her assistance were there to help for hours to set up. They met me at the venue at 12pm the previous days and left at 5pm to be back at the venue to run through rehearsal at 6! ROCKSTARS! We had a big wedding party 9 bridesmaid and 9 groomsman. These ladies told us how to walk down what to do with our hands and kept the boys in line! They told us things we never even thought of. Not to mention our DJ quit on us that Wednesday before and Lauren stepped up to help manage the music for the ceremony. It was one fire after another they kept putting out.

The Day Of:

Lauren and her assistant were right on time starting the day. They had told me they were missing some of my centerpieces, which were wine bottles with table numbers written on them and Lauren got a white marker and bottles and last minute made up for the missing ones. The seating chart was also a disaster and Lauren and her assistant were able to fix that.

The wedding party got ready at two separate locations, 10 minutes apart, and they had no trouble managing both parties.

Start of Ceremony:
The ceremony was running behind because the Maid of Honor was unable to get out of the parking garage at the hotel we got ready in and Lauren was able to handle things with grace and calmness.

During Reception: Lauren and her assistant were amazing through the entire reception. They were always on schedule, making sure everything was on time with the speeches, food, bands etc. They always checked if we had a drink or needed water. After the ceremony they picked up and got everything organized and made sure that my now husband and I were having the time of our lives. They were truly amazing. And we are so thankful for their help. I can’t say enough good things! You won’t regret hiring them! They truly care and want you to have the perfect day!

Hello Brides, Grooms, Parents, Friends, and All! I have been planning events for over 6 years now. I started with planning events for KU Dance Marathon, the Panhellenic Association at the University of Kansas, and with Big Brothers and Big Sisters. After working with dozens of Nonprofit Organizations to plan Galas, Auctions, and many other events I decided to open up Crystal Moments Event Planning in April 2022!
