I want to tell your story. And I want to do it in photos.

To tell your unique story, I start with a simple question: Who are you in your purest moments? This is the most important question that I have for my clients. Whether I’m asking you or youand your loved one, I want to know what makes you YOU. Every person and couple has something unique in them, and my goal is to find that element and pull it out so you shine in your pictures. So who are you—in those moments of silence and love, when it’s simply your thoughts, your beauty and those bits of time to explore your emotion?

My goal in this crazy world is to create beautiful photos, and the best pictures come from beautiful, pure moments of emotion. I love working with people who are open, caring, compassionate and flawed. The flaws make us unique, and they should be celebrated (and probably put in quotes, because then my lack of control around sweets is just a “flaw”).

And who am I? I’m Courtney Paige Ray, a portrait, boudoir and wedding photographer based in Southern California. But you can call me Court! Usually, you can find me outdoors: running, hiking, camping, beaching, dancing, yoga-ing and mostly just enjoying the sun (the best part of living in this part of the U.S.!). I’m mostly known for being super bubbly, happy and upbeat, but I also love my quiet time with a good book, a cup of coffee and my pupster in my lap.

As a fine art and wedding photographer, I’ve been featured on theHuffington Post, Style Me Pretty, OnceWed, Glamour (Paris) theDaily Mail and Burnett’s Boards. My work has been exhibited at PhotoLA and at the APA-LA 2014 Off the Clock exhibition. And I’ve been honored to be named as the 2015 U.S. National Award Winner at the Sonly World Photography Awards. As a commercial photographer, I’ve been so fortunate to work with amazing companies, including Dreamworks Animation and Santa Anita Race Track.
