Sarah and Allison did our hair and makeup and did a phenomenal job! Sarah made sure I knew that even with a short haircut I had lots of options, and she did a great job on 4 different bridesmaid styles. My hair has never held up with styling but it stayed put all day. Not only did we look great but they made it a fun relaxed time and we stayed on schedule. Highly recommend.

Sofi from the Color Bar did an INCREDIBLE job on my wedding day hairstyle! I had scheduled a hair trial with her about a month and a half before the big day and was super impressed. I had a general idea of how I wanted my hair, but she helped me lock in a style that would work for my hair, hair piece, and veil. I had also communicated some concerns I had as a result of previous hair style over the years (like too much hairspray, tight curls, etc.), so she took care to avoid those potential problems and help me feel at ease. She also gave me recommendations for picking out hair extensions for the wedding day since I did not have them at the time of the trial.

I got so many compliments about my hair and make-up on the day of the wedding, and I was blown away at how well the style held… even with being out in the cold, December wind for a few hours for wedding pictures. I had also hired the Color Bar for updos for my bridesmaids and all of their styles came out looking beautiful! (I went ahead and splurged by paying the travel fee so that the stylists came to us while we all get ready at the hotel.) Sofi and Nelly were both outstanding, and I would highly recommend!!

Nicole is one of the best and the only one I wanted and trusted to do my hair for my big day! Nicole exceeded my expectation (as usual). I showed her pics of what I wanted and she worked her magic! Katie did my makeup, she is amazing! I looked flawless!! They both made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day, I highly recommend.

Was so happy with how my hair turned out for my wedding! The salon was also very accommodating to opening the salon for my wedding on a Sunday with an early start time. Sofi was very sweet and did my hair and my mother’s hair exactly how we both pictured it! Would definitely recommend this salon!

Color Bar did an amazing job helping me choose a hairstyle for my wedding and makeup. They were responsive to my inquiry. The staff did an amazing job with not only my hair, but the other members of my bridal party. Very easy to work with and reasonably priced! Would highly recommend for bridal hair and makeup!

The girls at Color Bar Beauty Salon traveled to my venue to do hair and makeup for my wedding on October 6. Everything went extremely well and we all had a great time getting ready. The girls were all wonderful and were glad to make any changes the girls suggested. Katie did my makeup and it was absolutely gorgeous! It still looked great by 10pm! Altogether, I high recommend these girls for hair and makeup services!

Nicole has her act together!!!! She is so knowledgeable along w her staff. It is a pleasure to have my hair done at the color barn. Beyond excellent for color and product, I cannot tell you how many inferior stylists I have gone thru including one at Changes in Mechanicsburg. You will love the Color Barn. The wedding styles for our hair lasted all day long and free of touch ups. We looked great.

I can only speak for Katie since we only had make-up services done, but she is the BEST! I really liked my wedding trial make up, but I was obsessed with my makeup on my actual wedding day! I asked Katie to switch up some things and she did not disappoint. I’ve seen her work on multiple people (other than my mom and sister on my wedding day) and she is truly talented, so professional, and loves what she does (which is so important because you can tell she puts everything in to doing others makeup!) It lasted all day and my mom, sister and I received so many compliments. I can’t wait to get pictures back, she is worth every penny!!!
Aside from Katie, the staff at The Color Bar were very responsive and professional. I would recommend the salon in a heartbeat!

I am so glad that I found this place! They were super flexible and made me and my bridal party feel comfortable! They started and finished on time which is a big deal for a bride who stresses easily.
