Cloverdale Chapel & Meetinghouse is a 112 year old, quaint, rural building which formerly housed the Methodist/Episcopal Church for the Cloverdale, Oregon community. Purchased in 2000, the building now hosts many diverse gatherings. The original charm and flavor have been saved and the building restored. The building can accommodate 75 people and has proven to be quite adequate for small receptions.
There is no on-site catering but there are many serving pieces and arrangements for various reception menu/needs. Receptions may be held inside or out, depending upon the weather. The large wrap-around deck has provided space for serving and dancing. There are also two other sites available for receptions and/or ceremonies. The Cloverdale School, a one-room schoolhouse built in 1908 and a small barn are within walking distance of the chapel. There are many possible combinations of activities within these three structures.
We have some very talented people involved with the chapel and they can offer other wedding services. Some of these include:
* assistance derived from 15 years experience in planning and organizing ceremonies and other events
* recommendations for wedding officiates from among certified ceremonial ministers, familiar with the chapel
* sterling silver wedding bands and other gift items, made to order by a local silversmith
* musicians for use during the ceremony
* personalized paper products from a vast array of designs including names, initials, signs, garlands, decorations and items of your choosing
* a locally trained florist who can offer full service to assistance, with your desired flower arrangements
It is our goal to support you in making this THE DAY you desire!

Cloverdale Chapel was such a lovely and romantic venue for our wedding ceremony! Gay was unendingly patient with questions and wonderful with helping me plan the ceremony from across the country! The Chapel itself is warm and quaint, a perfect setting for an intimate wedding ceremony. We truly couldn’t have been happier with Cloverdale Chapel and Gay! Thank you so much for helping make our day so memorable!Sent on 02/21/2018

The Cloverdale Chapel was just the venue we were looking for. Kate responded to my after hours inquiry immediately, the cost was extremely reasonable, and she made everything very simple. Couldn't be happier with the chaple or with Kate!Sent on 08/24/2017

We married on May 13th, 2017. Cloverdale was a beautiful venue, Gay and Bruce were great and very kind and respectful. We also had Gay's daughter Kate perform the ceremony and she was very laid back and kind, which is very important when everyone else are chickens with their heads cut off. If you want a simple ceremony with people who truly care about your day, this is the place to go.Sent on 06/10/2017
The Cloverdale Chapel is a wonderful venue. The chapel, schoolhouse and surrounding grounds are charming and authentic, and the folks there are genuinely lovely. I've been to several events there, and I've worked with many brides who have used them, and they always receive glowing reviews. Unique and lovely!
I absolutely love shooting weddings here at Cloverdale chapel. The venue is so cute and the attention to detail that Gaye has put into decorating the chapel, school house, and other areas of the venue are perfect! Gaye is so sweet to work with and is very accommodating. If you are looking for a vintage chapel for a small wedding, this is the perfect place!
Gaye is just wonderful! She is a fantastic venue owner!
