From the time Bruce and I were married 46 years ago I have loved helping with the planning and setting up of friends and family weddings. We have done many other things in our busiiness careers but sometimes life takes unexpected turns. When we purchased Civil War Ranch the beautiful old barns spoke to my heart and with the encouragement of friends and my husband we went to work to create something that is true to the uniqueness of the setting and the barns.
We opened in July of 2013 and have helped over 400 couples celebrate their special day in their own amazing way.

Looking forward a great wedding venue in the Carthage/Joplin MO area with lots of great backdrops for photos? The Civil War Ranch is really cool, has plenty of parking for all your guests and lots of options for ceremony/reception locations on the property! Owners are fantastic to work with as well! Check it out!
I have had the good pleasure to perform one of my most memorable wedding ceremonies at the Civil War Ranch. It was late summer last year the ceremony was held just outside the barn. It was threatening rain and indeed did rain. One of the best parts of this wedding venue is its versitility. YOu can have an outdoor or an indoor ceremony. This particular day we waited for the rain to pass and we were able to get the ceremony in before it begain to rain again. The cool part was the double rainbow that appeared just after the ceremony. It was a great photo opportunity. Civil War Ranch is already a great photo shoot venue, but the double rainbow didn't hurt the couples wedding photographers ability to really deliver some great shots! I highly recommend you consider The Civil War Ranch for your next event or wedding for sure!! Sincerely, Rodney Noran The Casual Wedding Officiant www.OfficiantforaWedding.com
