I cannot say enough great things about Chris and his team! We used them for both our wedding photography and videography, which turned out better than we could have ever imagined!! Seriously STUNNING! Chris was incredibly responsive, thorough and helpful throughout the entire process. He scheduled multiple calls leading up to the big day to ensure we were all aligned on the vision and priorities for the wedding. He also sent us a ton of helpful tips leading up to the day to help make it as smooth as possible. On the day, his team was extremely kind and helped make sure we got all of the photos we wanted. Chris sent us a handful of photos only a few days after the wedding, which was so fun for us to look at on our honeymoon! The rest of the preview photos came shortly after and we received our entire wedding album about a month after the wedding (over 1000+)!! We also received our wedding video relatively quickly, which was amazing and well worth the wait. I am very hard to please and extremely picky, but Chris and his team were nothing but kind, understanding and supportive throughout the entire process. I highly recommend you consider him for your photography and videography!

My husband and I originally booked a different photographer, but when he realized he was double-booked, highly recommended Chris - in all honesty, it could not have worked out better! Chris is amazing - every step of the way he was there guiding us through the process with thoughts and ideas to make our dream come true. He stayed in touch throughout the entire 14 months leading up to wedding day. We had multiple meetings and calls to discuss expectations. With the engagement and wedding photos, he felt like our long-time best friend. He made us comfortable and allowed us to be ourselves! He took our ideas and elevated them. Our wedding photos - to die for. I could not have asked for anything more. We even had tons of sneak peeks just 4 days after our wedding! Book him - you will not regret it.

Chris was so great! He really rolled with all our quirky ideas and helped us capture the real us. We fully trusted him to capture the best of us and all our guests. He was so much fun and we really enjoyed working with him. He did a great job keeping us all moving and somewhat on time, which is hard to do in my family. Chris photographed our wedding in October of 2021 and did an INCREDIBLE job. We started with an engagement shoot that was a great way to practice for our wedding day. We learned all of the popular poses so that on our actual wedding day we didn’t feel awkward posing. He was incredibly organized and thorough throughout the entire process and the results were perfect. The entire day was planned out and he photographed every shot we wanted. We also had a beautiful wedding video and I had special requests for the video that he easily accommodated! The entire day ran smoothly thanks to his organization. He was extremely professional but we also had SO much fun. I felt like I was with a friend throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Chris for any event.

Chris is awesome! He was extremely accommodating from the beginning. He worked with us to stay in our budget. We originally were not going to have an engagement session, but since it was included in the package with Chris we decided to have some fun with it. It was so nice to meet Chris and see his photos of us before the actual day of the wedding. He understood us and what we are like as a couple before we ever even met him (this is probably where his relationship questionnaire's comes in handy). He stayed in touch in the months between the engagement session and the wedding (which is nice for nervous brides who are afraid their vendors may have forgotten about them lol). The day of the wedding he awesome! Helped keep us on schedule but made sure I got all the pictures I wanted! He is awesome and I can't thank him enough for being there on our day - and working some extra magic with the camera during the reception lol

We used them for our wedding. They are the best. Amazing long shots and close ups. Everything is very detailed and accommodating will use again. A+

I had a very poor experience with Chris Gin Studios and I’ve given him more than enough time to follow through and attempt to make it right. One major issue was their communication process: they only communicate with one person, so if you and your spouse both want to be involved in discussions about your wedding photos, this company isn’t the right choice. Despite asking multiple times to include both of us on emails, I was told “our software can’t do that”.

Additionally, we spent considerable time creating a list of the important photos we wanted. However, on the day of our wedding, several key photos were missed—most importantly, there wasn’t a single picture of my wife, son, daughter, and me together. When I reached out to Chris about this, his response was dismissive. He initially said he’d look through the photos again but offered no apology or meaningful solution. Eventually, he offered to Photoshop a group picture, which turned out poorly.

Another major issue is that you don’t actually own your photos. You can’t alter them in any way, and you don’t even receive all the photos taken on your wedding day—you only get the ones Chris chooses to send you. This was never made clear upfront, and it was a huge disappointment.

I mentioned giving opportunities and time to resolve, I was married on June 8th, I’m writing this on October 14th. He mentioned that as a gift, he provides all clients with 50 photos and a USB of all the images. Since the missed photo was such a big deal, he offered to let me select the 50 photos myself, which was supposed to be a special gesture. However, I was married on June 8th, and as of now, I still haven’t received anything. Chris hasn’t called once, despite this significant oversight. When I left a voicemail, he responded with a text promising the items would arrive in a few days, but I haven’t heard from him since.

I cannot recommend Chris Gin Studios. They failed to capture an essential part of our wedding day, their lack of communication was frustrating, and their restrictions on photo ownership left us feeling powerless over our own memories.
