Bellevue Hall is the ideal choice for elegant, lavish wedding ceremonies and receptions or charming, intimate gatherings and rehearsal dinners. This stately mansion in Wilmington, Delaware provides a fairytale setting - towering column entrances, magnificent gardens, elaborate marble fireplaces, sophisticated wood-paneled library, and an enormous central foyer with its grand staircase. The venue also offers a state-of-the-art tent to seat 250.
Originally named, Woolton Hall, the building was completed in 1855 and occupied by several turn-of-the-century visionaries as they purchased summer or suburban homes soon after the 1838 completion of the Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore Railway. The duPont Family owned the property from 1893 and made several modifications along the way to eventually transform the space into a notable Greek Revival mansion which resembles Montpelier. It was purchased by The State of Delaware in 1976 and became the showpiece of Bellevue State Park; now managed exclusively by Jeffrey Miller Catering.
