Christopher Gendron Photography offers wedding photography services for couples in Eastern Tennessee and beyond. Chris takes a comfortable and unobtrusive approach to every wedding he shoots. You can relax and enjoy your day knowing all the emotions and details of your wedding are being captured.
Experience
Chris received a degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington and after very quickly realizing he was not passionate about it left the field to find a career he was excited about. Chris had already been an avid landscape/ski photographer in his spare time which filled a creative need he had always possessed. After quiting his job and moving to California for a short time, a friend recommended he photograph weddings. Chris was reluctant at the suggestion but assisted on one and was immediately hooked. He assisted on his first wedding in 2002 and has been specializing in wedding photography ever since. He continues to love the artistic path he took.
Services Offered
Christopher Gendron Photography does not want couples to stress about choosing the right package. Instead, he wants couples to focus on choosing the right photographer. This is why he keeps his package simple yet easily adjustable if necessary. He doesn't want couples to feel like they are being nickel and dimed. Chris wants them to know that they are put first as it is their show, not his. His basic package includes:
- Unlimited time on the wedding day
- Unlimited images (usually 2000 +)
- Full size high resolution files
- Second shooter

Incredible! Couldn't ask for better!
Chris was absolutely amazing! From our first meeting he was incredibly friendly and professional; he put us at ease and helped guide us through the whole process. Having the engagement shoot included allowed us to get to know Chris and become more comfortable in front of the camera before our actual wedding day. As a bonus, Chris is a great skier, so we were able to have our engagement shoot at our happy place: on the ski slopes at Crystal Mountain.
The day of the wedding, Chris and his assistant were right on time and jumped into shooting without distracting us from our preparations. They seamlessly blended into the day and provided us with many beautiful candid shots, as well as the planned shots we were hoping to get. As wedding experts, they even helped us with logistics that we had not planned for, like attaching my bridal veil and accurately filling out our marriage certificate (bonus!).
We got our pictures back less than 6 weeks after the wedding and were incredibly happy at how amazing all 2700 pictures were! We definitely have our work cut out for us to narrow down which pictures we want to print. Overall, we were thrilled with Chris's energy, organization, and talented photography skills! Hire him; you won't regret it!

Amazing Photographer! You need him!
Chris is the literal best photographer a bride could ask for! Don’t waste your time on anyone else. He was by far my favorite vendor! I can’t say enough about him. If you want a specific shot, he will get it done no matter what!

Best photographer
Chris was the BEST decision we made for our wedding day! He made us feel so comfortable from our engagement session to the wedding day. He truly does everything he can for his clients. Everyone has absolutely LOVED our photos. Chris is truly the BEST in the business and is a dream to work with. I am so thankful and grateful that we got to have him as our wedding photographer. Great Photographer for your wedding
Chris was super great from the start. Very good and open communication as far as expectations from both parties. He always responded and addressed my concerns. On our wedding day he came early, and was very professional the entire day. He's very knowledgeable about lighting and angles. He went above and beyond for us on our special day and after. We got our photos back fast, within a month and they're perfect. Highly recommend him to anyone in the Knoxville/ Gatlinburg area.

Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with! Not only was he great at providing direction and capturing our unique personalities, he also has an incredible eye for detail and lighting. Always a pleasure working with him!
We chose Chris to do our wedding pictures back in 2016 and the pictures turned out amazing!! So we reached out to him again for photo session for our 1 year old baby. He is very professional and knowledgeable! He always puts us at ease and takes his time to give us amazing pictures.

Fun and relaxed
We hired Chris for our August 15th wedding after our first photographer wasn't able to due to the virus. He was absolutely wonderful! He was very responsive to my emails and questions. He was very easy to work with. We enjoyed his fun personality and flexibility. He was willing to go to several locations, including my in laws for a little gathering after since we couldn't have a reception. We had a great time taking pictures, he made us feel relaxed and encouraged us to be ourselves. He is great at taking candid photos. He really gets into his work and you can tell he enjoys it. He climbed on a railing, got a bit wet in a creek, and got into the trees to get beautiful shots. Our pictures are gorgeous. Everyone from the wedding really enjoyed him and still talk about him. I really liked that he is unlimited time so you don't have to feel constrained. He took over 2,000 pictures. He really made our day wonderful in the midst of a lot of challenges with the virus. We would definitely recommend Chris to anyone.
