My husband and I are both Catholic, so we were concerned about our desire to have our ceremony outside a church or cathedral. However, we accidentally stumbled upon Christ the King Church, an American Catholic Community, and learned that we could have a wonderful Catholic (albeit not Roman Catholic) Mass outside the church. To our delight, Fr. Gary was a wonderful officiant and a joy to have be a part of our wedding. He made us so comfortable and showed that he really wanted to get to know us as individuals and as a couple. He made the pre-wedding process very clear and enjoyable. And officiated the mass, including a sermon personalized for my husband and I, so very well. Fr. Gary also advised us that he practices many of the weddings that are done in the American Catholic Community, and therefore goes to great lengths to be a part of weddings, wherever in the world they may be.
