From the very beginning, our tasting felt thoughtful and tailored. Neil sat down with us to walk through a wide variety of dishes, helping us adjust flavors and spice levels to match our preferences. It was clear that he genuinely cared about making the food perfect for us.

Just three days before the wedding, we requested some onion- and garlic-free options for a few guests, and Neil handled it without hesitation. That level of flexibility and care meant a lot to us.

The food itself was absolutely delicious — a major hit with our guests — but it didn’t stop there. Presentation was beautiful and personal, right down to a watermelon carved with our names, which added such a charming touch. The service staff was respectful, professional, and attentive throughout the event.

Chowpatty consulted/catered two weddings in my family over the last year and never disappointed! At my Seattle wedding, they achieved the difficult task of balancing Punjabi and Gujarati flavor preferences to create tasty and memorable meals for each of our events. The guests gave very high compliments and the the venue as well as other vendors found the Chowpatty team to be pleasurable and easy to work with. 10/10!!

There is not much more I can say about Chowpatty other than that they go above and beyond for their clients all while providing amazing, clean, high-quality food. We have been catering from Chowpatty for our family events dating back to 1998. Even with the growth of Indian catering in New Jersey, Chowpatty still continues to be our go-to for all things food so we knew we wanted them to cater our wedding events!

With the exception of our wedding and reception (due to venue exclusivity), we had Chowpatty cater our Mehndi, Sangeet, and Pithi events. Each menu was so thoughtfully created to ensure that all events had different cuisines with unique dishes. Neil spent many hours with both of our families, helping us finalize our menus in detail all while keeping our individual interests in mind. Chowpatty seamlessly accommodated our request for dishes without no onion/garlic as well. They even created a boba drink station for our Sangeet as requested! There is truly nothing they are not willing to make work for their guests.

There is something to be said about having nothing but positive experiences for the near 30 years that we have been catering from Chowpatty. I can say this is all thanks to none other than the family-like relationship they keep with their clients!

We hired Chowpatty catering for our wedding Sangeet and they were amazing! They sat down with us to plan our menu the way we wanted, and were very accommodating of my food allergies (nuts, mangoes), which is difficult for any Indian kitchen as they use nuts and mango powder in so many dishes. They made sure I had peace of mind when dining during my wedding, and their food was amazing to boot. They have a very expansive menu that we picked from and they provided advice along the way. They even let us do multiple tastings, which was very generous. Overall can't recommend these guys enough!

Our wedding was August 28, 2021, and in the planning process the search for the caterer seemed to be one of the most daunting tasks. We didn't know if we'd be able to find quality food along with quality service, and we heard bad stories about some Indian caterers in the past.

Luckily in our search we stumbled onto Chowpatty. From the very first meeting the owner Sandip and head of catering Neal were beyond gracious and helpful through the whole process. Neal helped us form the perfect menu from lunch to cocktail hour to dinner, infusing Indian with a variety of cuisines which is what we wanted. The guests were raving about the food and we heard multiple times the words "best Indian food I've ever had" and couldn't be happier with the food and staff throughout.

One of the most important vendors during wedding week is the caterer!!! I am so glad I went with Chowpatty because our guests are still raving about our wedding food. The best part is that Chowpatty has great Indian fusion options from paneer tacos, to jalapeno cheese samosas and paneer ravioli! These items will definitely leave you wanting more. Neil was super accommodating and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning with our food tasting!

Selecting food vendor was the hardest of all Vendors we dealt with. We were going to split Vendors for different Venus. Neil from Chowpatty worked with us and gave us comfort level that he will deliver quality we are looking for in all our Venus. We had some disagreement amongst us as far as taste of food was concerned. Neil was able to come up with solution that we had plates that catered to both our tastes.
We originally were going to go with other Vendor for Reception food but we are so happy we went with Chowpatty since the food was excellent. Matter of fact, to date we get compliments for food from people who attended wedding.
We used Chowpatty for Vidhi, Garba, Wedding, and Reception.
Best thing about using them was we were given multiple food tasting to make sure we will get the taste we wanted.
I would use them again in a heartbeat. You can't go wrong.

We chose Chowpatty as our wedding caterer and it was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Feeding 500 people is no easy task yet Chowpatty did it so seamlessly. We received so much feedback from our guests about how good all the gujurati food was and asking us who our caterer was. Beyond having top notch catering food, Chowpatty had excellent service and fair pricing. From beginning to end, they provided clear communication and professional feedback on how an event should be conducted. Our meetings and tasting didn’t feel like meetings because Chowpatty and the individuals who run their organization know how to make you feel like family. We will be recommending them to all our friend and family and hope to use them for future events.
