Facilities and Capacity
Cherry Runn Lodge offers various locations for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The Eagles Nest is an extraordinary covered outdoor space that features a panoramic view of the property and can accommodate 375 guests. Perched on high stilts, this area is nestled into the tree canopies and has been the location of many eagle sightings. Here, you can exchange your vows with nature as your backdrop and dance the night away surrounded by open skies. The Lodge offers a historic indoor setting for up to 120 guests. This space offers a charming woodland ambiance that will awe you and your guests. You can also choose to host your ceremony outdoors in the open air with The Barn as a rustic backdrop.
Services Offered
At this venue, you can start your big day by preparing in the getting-ready bridal suite, a relaxing space under draping trees. Marie and the team at Cherry Runn Lodge will ensure that your wedding flows seamlessly from your ceremony to cocktail hour and reception. Staff will preset tables and chairs in your preferred layout. The venue also includes linens, chair covers, and additional decor to bring your vision to life. On-site bartending services will refresh your guests and energize them for a night of mingling and dancing.
History
This lodge, originally built in 1923 for the Rochester and Pittsburgh Coal Co., served as a campground for the company's executives. In 1989, the property underwent renovations, and a dance floor, bar area, and wraparound porch were added. The land went through various owners until it was sold to Jason Buggey and his family in 2019. Since purchasing Cherry Runn Lodge, Jason and Marie have worked hard to honor the space and create a venue full of joy and character.
