Chelsea was absolutely amazing to work with. She handled the wedding party amazingly and worked the crowd getting all the great action shots. The pics were everything we hoped and more! The wedding book she put together was just incredible! We have used her services now for other family functions and weddings and will always call on her when it comes to our photography needs. Do yourself a favor and hire her!!

Chelsea was fantastic from pre wedding to post wedding. She was open to all ideas we had and worked with us to make any pictures we wanted happen. She was flexible with all of our last minute changes and was an absolute blast during the pictures. I would recommend Chelsea to anyone for any type of function!

I want to start by saying the primary problem with Chelsea was not the photos. The photos are fine, for the most part. She could use some updates on posing, particularly posing plus-sized people, but we chose her because her photos looked beautiful and her pricing was reasonable.

The problem with Chelsea is her communication and inability to follow through with the timelines in her own contract.

We used her for both our engagement and wedding photos and worked with her for nearly two years. When we first spoke, she told us she provides sneak peeks within a week, but usually sends them the next day. We were so excited about that! In reality, we waited nearly four weeks for sneak peeks after both shoots, with the explanations consistently being that either she or her kids were sick.

Our engagement photos were supposed to be delivered within 3–4 weeks and took more than 7. It wasn't the biggest deal, but it was frustrating because we needed them for our save-the-dates and had to delay sending them.

Our wedding photos have been the most frustrating part of our entire wedding process. Our wedding was April 25, and we finally received our full gallery August 9, more than 15 weeks later. Her contract states 6–12 weeks, possibly an additional 2 weeks if she is very busy, with any delays communicated immediately.

We received no photos until nearly week 4. She "got sick" on her way home from our wedding, then "lost track of time." On June 25, we received a second small group of photos that were horrendously edited. I had never seen photos so poorly edited and became genuinely worried our entire gallery would look that way.

Throughout this process, I have had to initiate nearly every communication. I had to ask where our photos were and repeatedly ask for timelines. Each time there was another explanation: she was sick, her kids were sick, her kids messed with her computer, it was the end of the school year, etc.

By week 13, with no completed gallery in sight, I was considerably less patient. Chelsea promised we would have our photos "ASAP," and I had to press her for an actual date. She committed to August 1.

At 12:02 a.m. August 2, she emailed that a portion of the photos had been uploaded and the rest were uploading to Pixieset. It took another full week to receive the remainder, during which she stopped communicating with me entirely.

Ultimately, the issue wasn't simply that our photos were late. It was the repeated missed deadlines, excuses, lack of proactive communication, and the fact that I continually had to chase her for information.

Given what I know now, I would have chosen another photographer and paid more, if only for the customer service and reliability. Weddings are stressful enough for the people getting married. There is no reason for the photographer you hire to document that day to become one of the most stressful parts of the experience.
