Chelsea shot my wedding at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and the photos that she took are absolutely beautiful! My experience working with Chelsea was wonderful, right off the bat, I saw that she has a lot of info and examples of her work on her website so that made the process of envisioning the outcome very easy. Next, the administrative aspects (setting the appointment, making payment) were straightforward and smooth, and she is very prompt at responding to emails. And about a week before the wedding we had a phone call so that she could ask us about any specific pictures or group shots that we wanted her to capture, and I am happy to report that she got pictures of everything that we requested. She even got pictures that we didn't even think to ask about, that's how professional and talented she is.

During the actual shoot, I was so impressed with how positive and upbeat she is, she really brings a lot of energy to her work! She was very experienced with the venue (it's a big place and she knew all the good spots for photos!). And wow is she sure efficient!! She captured a ton of photos in a short period of time, and now we have an abundance issue of too many good pictures to choose from for our album!! Also, every time I have spoken to my mom over the past week, she has mentioned what a great job Chelsea did at photographing the wedding! We are so happy we selected Chelsea, she is a pleasure to work with, and her photographs will be treasured.

Chelsea is an amazing wedding photographer and all-around fantastic person. She's talented, organized, very responsive, a great listener, and adept at managing families and friends on your wedding day (aka, herding cats)! We got through our photos in a flash when we were running late, and the ceremony started exactly on time. Chelsea was also wonderful at making my fiance (now husband) feel comfortable being photographed; ever since he has smiled genuinely and broadly in pictures, so the effects are long-term. Heh :-)

Chelsea is also great with kids and thoroughly charmed my little 18-mo niece and as a result we got wonderful photos with our tiny flower girl. She worked to help us put together the perfect package for us, as well as a beautiful wedding album we will cherish forever. Although you can get prints of your own photos made for cheap nowadays, I highly recommend splurging on the ones directly through Chelsea for at least the most important photos - she does subtle but impressive touch-ups/adjustments that really do look better than the raw photos! And the same work goes into every photo in your album, too. Trust me, I spent countless hours poring over the hundreds of photos we got from her to send as gifts, select for the album etc.
