We were recently married at Chapel by the Sea on Captiva Island, and every detail of the day was absolutely perfect! The chapel is nestled into it's own little private peace of heaven along the beach, which made for a very intimate and beautiful experience for our small wedding party. Pastor George Morris went above and beyond to make the joining of our two families a personal and seamless experience. We were so touched by the sincerity of the ceremony, and will cherish the day for many years to come! I highly recommend the chapel as an intimate and unique wedding location, or an interesting place to visit if you are on the island.

Great location and beautiful church. I can not express how cute this place is! Very affordable too! Limited parking available so they encourage the use of car pooling or I used the adorable sanibel island trolley from Adventures In Paradise.
The Rev. was very nice but did call my fiance another name during the ceremony before quickly correcting himself even though we had met before and saw our names via emails and paperwork.
The chapel is closed at certain times of the year, I would call ahead to make sure the location is open before you fully consider it.
