We ordered three small wedding cakes (and an additional gluten-free, vegan cake) for our wedding. I didn't care for special designs or colors so it was super easy to go in 3 days before the wedding, place the order, pay, and leave the name of the person who would pick them up the day of. It all went smoothly and the cakes were delicious! Not overly sweet or with 2 inches of greasy frosting like I've seen at other stores, but light, moist, and full of flavor. There wasn't a crumb left at the end of the reception and everyone loved it! Central Market has a few locations throughout the Puget Sound area so we ordered from the closest one.

Central Market Bakery made delicious cake for our wedding. It was the best cake I have ever eaten, and it looked amazing.

They also sit down with you for tasting, and send you home with tons of free cake and icing flavors! :) I will be going here for all my cake needs in the future!

I used Central Market for my wedding cake to feed 300+ people. I've went to several of wedding shows and each cake that I sampled were dry and straight yucky, but looked pretty. A friend told me about Central Market and thought that I would give it a try and get wedding cake samples. The icings tasted freshly made and the cake was so moist and flavorful. My wedding cake tasted exactly the same!

I ordered the white cake w/coconut filling and a creamcheese/buttercream icing...the taste was AMAZING! To cut costs a little bit, I ordered a small 3-tiered caked and ordered 2 1/2 full sheets of cake. At the reception, my tiered cake wasn't even cut (except for it being cut by me). I brought the entire cake home and saved it for the next day's party with my family. Everyone loved the cake and were amazed that it was from Central Market!

p.s.- I docked 1 star for flexibility for not delivering the cake. But, even though they don't deliver, they packed the cake very carefully so you don't have to worry about it messing up.
