Cathy's catered our wedding for 72 people. Renee was the head chef at our wedding and did an outstanding job! A very special thank you to her for going above and beyond! She made sure that we had appetizers in the kitchen when we arrived and drinks before we were announced to our guests. She also took the lead communicating with our DJ to make sure announcements were made about the meal and dessert being served. The food was amazing! The feedback I got from our guests was fantastic. The food was served buffet style. We chose to do mini cupcakes for dessert in about 10 different flavors and our guests loved them! We got to take home extra food at the end of the night as well. Brain was our bartender and he also was very friendly and did a great job as at our venue we had to supply all the drinks and alcohol. Throughout the night I asked him if we still had enough and he gave me the run down of what we had left which was a relief for me! I highly recommend Cathy's catering to anyone, especially for a wedding. All staff were very prompt, and professional!

WOW! Cathy's catered our anniversary party (100 ppl) and did an outstanding job. We received so many compliments on the food as well as the professionalism of the staff. Lobster Ravioli is a must. Our friends still talk about it. They were also very flexible as our guest count changed last minute. Would recommend without hesitation.

My sister in law actually found them for me as I live NC but our wedding was in PA.What a great deal for our money we paid $7.50 a plate.In this day and age you can't beat that.They can cater according to your needs and do not have a set menu like most places.What made it more awesome for me is that their chef is puerto-rican and so is my hubsand so we had what I would call a spanish meal.Each plate came with rice & beans (arroz con gandules), roast pork shoulder (pernil), roast chicken & a vegetable salad.They were also able to rent my table linens.Instead of china we used what is called reflections and it had me fooled it looks just like china until you pick it up.That was money saving for us.They served all the food for us buffet style and even cut our cake although it was purchased else where.At the end of the night the gave us all of our left overs to take home all packaged neatly.I believe the gentlemen I spoke with Tony is one of the managers and they were such a pleasure to deal with.

The communication was lacking. Multiple times we were misquoted in price. Unless we specifically asked about something, there was no information given about it (like napkin and tablecloth colors--they never asked what we wanted, so we had to ask them ourselves if we could choose colors--they had already gone ahead and told their supplier that we wanted white). Items that were supposed to be taken off were taken off for one quote then put back in for another. Asked for colored papers for cupcakes at the wedding so that guests could clearly see which cupcake was which, but they all had the same plain white papers. Sent a picture of a wedding cake and asked for that decoration in a color other than what was pictured, received back a service list with the color pictured.

The service at the wedding was subpar. A couple guests complained that their food was served cold. After we cut our small "cake to cut", the servers did not bother to set any aside for us, so we did not get to eat our own wedding cake. We ordered a two tiered cake based on Cathy's suggestion so we would have an anniversary cake, but they did not bring or provide anything to take this cake home with and gave it to us in a giant, shallow metal pan which would have completely crushed the cake if not for one of our guests coming up with a solution. As it was, we did have to cut it in half, which was disappointing for me, as I looked forward to us cutting it for our anniversary. They seemed completely surprised that we needed a way to take this cake home. At the end of the night, several of our chocolate cupcakes remained and I viewed them sitting in the kitchen area (and was excited, since this was the same type of cake that our wedding cake was, and we had not been served any). When our cupcakes were boxed up for us, there was only one chocolate. A small detail, but annoying, because I know no more were served to guests.

They catered our wedding which was outside. They forgot some food, ran out of other food and the service was very very poor. We went through all of the details with them of the day, walked them through the site And have them a timeline with details. When they got there it was like we never spoke- they had no idea what to do, asked us ( the bride and groom) to leave our own reception to get them supplies they didn't have. Very very poor service. Would not recommend to anyone. To top it off, we called a few days after to express our concerns and they basically told us it was our fault they forgot food and service was poor because we had it outside at our farm ( it was a tent, so should not have been an issue for any caterer) This is after they came out and said they'd make everything great. If you want to enjoy your wedding or event, do not hire them to be your caterer. Very disappointed in the service provided for the money we paid.
