Cassy is such an amazing photographer. I came across her pictures on Instagram and loved her work. She traveled to San Diego for both our engagement photos and wedding day which was really nice and you cannot beat her pricing.

Me and my fiance used Cassy to capture our engagement photos! She was absolutely amazing from start to finish of the entire process. With being new to living in the O.C, she provided so many great ideas and options for locations. I also loved that she was open to having me send her ideas of poses/inspo that I thought would fit me and my partners vibe! She was such a blast to hangout with and so easy to talk too. I also really loved how casual and relaxed she made us feel for the entire shoot, and all around made it fun! She is also very easy to communicate with - I felt very comfortable sharing with her about certain insecurities I had and certain styles of photography editing that I preferred. Cassy and her husband were the best photography team! Cassy captured my Maid of Honors wedding and I knew I had to have her for my wedding. She traveled across the country from CA to VA to capture my special day. My husband hates taking photos, and they helped make the process enjoyable for him. It rained all day on my wedding, and Cassy and her husband braved the rain offering us their umbrella while they trekked through the mud. I found Cassy Smith Photography on Instagram of all places, and just fell in love with her tone and style. She has such a unique way of finding the light without the background being completely white washed! Both my husband and I knew she was the only photographer team for us! Since the beginning, she was incredibly helpful. Our engagement pictures in Big Sur were stunning, and she spent hours with us, far longer than expected! The day of the wedding, she and her husband were rockstars. They kept the timeline moving, they helped direct everything and made me, my husband, our families, the wedding party, all feel so comfortable and taken care of. And, she was 7+ months pregnant while doing so! Our little teaser pictures came just a week later, which were stunning, and then came our sneak peak within the month. Oh man, they were perfect and were just enough to tide us over until our full gallery which had over 1,000 photos in it!!! We love every single one of them, I can't wait to get prints going and put an album together! 1000/1000 would recommend them to anyone looking for stunning and unique wedding photos!!

Cassy took beautiful engagement photos of my fiancé and I at Balboa Park in San Diego. They turned out even better than I imagined. We were scheduled to have her do our wedding on May 16th but that will have to be postponed unfortunately. She has offered us a few options to work with regarding the ever changing circumstances and although we do not know when our new date will be, I trust that Cassy will capture the day perfectly.
