Heidi at CCD went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect cake for our wedding. She came out of her way to drop off samples for us to taste, and was willing to take our suggestions to create something new that was just what we were looking for. Highly recommend!

Heidi did a phenomenal job creating our cake! I say “creating” instead of “baking” because it truly was a work of art, my husband audibly gasped when he first saw it. She did a four tier cake with about 130 servings, with both vanilla and chocolate cake. Our guests all went back for both flavors and loved both, it was a huge crowd pleaser. We tasted cake from 3 other bakeries before choosing Cascadia Cake Design - her cake is incredibly moist and flavorful and her icing is smooth and rich without being overly sweet. We can’t get enough of Heidi’s cake, it’s so good.

The cake design was all Heidi too - we had a very rough idea of the colors and style we wanted for the cake, but not much else. She took our vague vision and made it into something really special. The sugar flowers were so realistic that we had to get up in there to realize they weren’t real. Heidi was also super professional, very communicative, very clear and fair about her pricing and services, and all around just a pleasure to work with. We appreciate you so much, Heidi!

I have tried so many bakers for our weeding cake. Heidi is the best we can ask for. She is professional, passionate, responsive, and affordable. We are doing six tiers wedding cake with a fountain in the middle. I know it is not an easy task. We had a difficulty to find a professional baker who was willing to take our wedding cake design come true. Me and my partner are so happy that we found and hired Heidi. She is very easy to communicate and passionate in constructing our idea. She provided ideas and understood what we want. Very easy to work with. We have decided to go with her lemon and chocolate cakes. Delis! We can't wait to see and taste our wedding cake in August! Thank you Heidi.
