Carolyn is a true professional. She was so easy to work with and everyone involved in our wedding loved her! She made us all feel comfortable on our big day and the finished product was beautiful! We also used her for our engagement shoot and those pictures were awesome! We received so many compliments on our pictures. I would highly, highly recommend her!

Carolyn was our photographer for our May 2015 wedding in Oak Park. She was the loveliest, nicest person you could meet, and was incredibly flexible and accommodating of all our needs (limited budget, limited shooting time, etc). We only had a half-hour to do group photos between the ceremony and reception, and yet the photography turned out as if we had had a full afternoon! She captured the spirit of the day so well and I love looking through our wedding album. She caught details and moments that I had totally missed on my big day! It was such a treat going through the photos afterward. Highly recommended!

When my husband and I decided to get married, we knew that finding the right photographer was a top priority. We researched photographers for countless nights and poured over the portfolios of what seemed like hundreds of candidates. We ended up choosing Carolyn Lloyd and are so pleased with the results. She is AMAZINGLY talented and so much fun to work with! I can’t imagine choosing anyone else because we would have missed out on her incredible photos. Carolyn photographed our wedding in September 2014. Her creative eye perfectly captured the spirit and excitement of our special day, with portraits both thoughtful and playful. I was amazed at the shots she got! She was never intrusive, and yet she created some of the most beautiful and intimate portraits of our family and friends I have ever seen. It was especially bittersweet: As a male couple, my husband and I had to wait 18 years to be legally married. My mother, who is in declining health, was able to attend, as our only surviving parent. Our original photo contractor dropped the ball, but Carolyn was there to save our memories. If I could do it all over again I would not hesitate to ask Carolyn to record our special day.
